The Carwarden Bed and Breakfast is truly a delightful B+B to stay in. The house and rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, homemade, abundant and creative! The proprietor Mary, has a sense of humor that is quick and fun. We chose to stay at this B+B because it was situated well for our journey down to the ferry in Yarmouth.... More

First, Mary is a very gracious hostess with a wonderful sense of humor, we enjoyed joking with her emensely. She keeps her B&B impeccably clean, the inside of her 1913 Era house was beautiful. In the morning she made fruit cups, home made bisquets , homemade jelly, apple sauce, granola and the Quechee was delicious. At breakfast we met Fred... More

Can't say enough about this place. In an area know for incredible tides, the location, just north of Wolfville, was in the country, with a great view of cattle pasturing off in the distance and a very attractive garden We were served a delicious breakfast by Mary, the excellent host . Strongly recommend this B&B.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were still noticing new details as we were leaving. Mary has kept her beloved beautiful historic home very original, yet updated enough for comfort. We loved sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine watching the sun set every night after we came home from dinner. Our room was large with... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in April in the Cortland room that has its own bathroom. The room was wonderful with 2 windows giving a view of the countryside and birds around. Each morning the breakfast was amazing and Mary our host is the nicest person you will meet. You must try her homemade home tapped maple syrup. The 1910... More

It's a very big home - according to the owner just the right size - , very cozy in a rural, quiet setting. In the shared bathroom you find anything you probably could need... hair dryer, plaster , tampons, including a selection of shampoo, a body lotion for afterwards and, by the way, bath or shower - your choice. Breakfast... More

The is a beautiful, old house—originally built for a well-to-do family with servants. All the rooms and hallways are spacious, including our twin room. The shared bath is large and includes a tub with claw feet as well as a shower. A large, delicious breakfast was served on nice china. Even the granola is homemade. Mary advised us to see... More

We had the pleasure of spending a night at this B&B last week and was glad we did. Mary welcomed us into the inn and showed us to our lovely room. The room was furnished in period furniture and meticulously cleaned and neat. The country setting was quiet and relaxing. Mary helped us with our dinner plans and even got... More
