I love this hotel: the astmosphere, the exterior and the interior. They have a nice restaurant with a wooden floor, wooden chairs and red-white linen. Like time stood still. Where do you find such an untouched holiday seaside hotel. They serve nice seafood. Hotelrooms are very basic and not so special. The hotel is just a few minutes away from... More

We thought the exterior of this hotel looked authentic (1888 over the front door) and guessed the food and service might also be the good old fashioned French variety. We weren't disappointed! The young lady who served us on a a quiet Monday night in late October was excellent, smiling and efficient. There are two 3-course fixed price table D'hote menus and... More

We booked this trip for an overnight stay in September. If you are looking for a typical, traditional French hotel then this is the place for you. It is like stepping back in time, the rooms are basic but charming. Beds comfortable with a well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was good (although not outstanding) but the criossant and bread were delicious.... More

This is an hotel with it's own museum attached only 100 yards or so from the beautiful beach down a sandy lane. It's a lovely little town with an interesting and picturesque square in the middle of it. The beach does get full but you can wander off for 5 minutes and be alone in either direction. We walked over... More

We stayed overnight here on last day of a travelling holiday in France Spain & Portugal. Not only was it the most expensive but the most basic. The man on reception was very helpful when we arrived and whilst I was making the booking by phone from Portugal. We had to pay on arrival and confirm breakfast as the Reception... More

We had a split family room with bizarrely the bathroom as the connection. It was an interesting setup and our son loved having his own room. The bathroom consisted of a powerful shower and toilet. The basins were in our rooms. The double bed was comfortable but on the small side but we had a good nights sleep. Now the... More

We know this village very well as we frequently travel here when doing a quick weekend trip to the Calais area. We have seen the hotel and wondered what it would be like, so I booked us in for a weekend and we are not disappointed. It was like stepping back in time with traditional furniture and a completely authentic... More

A bed of 140 x 200 is very cosy but not if you're used to a bigger bed. They had to squeeze in a small bed otherwise it didn't fit the room. The bathroom was tiny but duable. This hotel needs the essential repairing. But also it's time to decorate. Time stood still here. During breakfast you can see this... More

We stayed one night in this hotel and were welcomed very friendly. Also our dog was welcome. We had a simpel tidy ensuite room with a good bed. Diner was delicious at a fair price. The ambiance was traditional and slightly oldfashioned but with a nice peaceful atmosphere.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in this hotel in June 2014 before catching the ferry to the UK. The hotel is picturesque, facilities are outdated, but were acceptable for a one-night stay. The two-star rating and reviews by other guests had prepared us for what we found, so we didn't feel that we were deceived. For... More
