We know this village very well as we frequently travel here when doing a quick weekend trip to the Calais area. We have seen the hotel and wondered what it would be like, so I booked us in for a weekend and we are not disappointed. It was like stepping back in time with traditional furniture and a completely authentic... More

A bed of 140 x 200 is very cosy but not if you're used to a bigger bed. They had to squeeze in a small bed otherwise it didn't fit the room. The bathroom was tiny but duable. This hotel needs the essential repairing. But also it's time to decorate. Time stood still here. During breakfast you can see this... More

We stayed one night in this hotel and were welcomed very friendly. Also our dog was welcome. We had a simpel tidy ensuite room with a good bed. Diner was delicious at a fair price. The ambiance was traditional and slightly oldfashioned but with a nice peaceful atmosphere.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in this hotel in June 2014 before catching the ferry to the UK. The hotel is picturesque, facilities are outdated, but were acceptable for a one-night stay. The two-star rating and reviews by other guests had prepared us for what we found, so we didn't feel that we were deceived. For... More

Arriving in Wissant without reservations in June we looked at all the local hotels and chose this one. The 2 rooms we looked at were both simple, but nicely furnished. The room we chose @ Euros 75 for 2 people had a large bed, great view of the mill pond, an ensuite bathroom and was light and airy.with The manager... More

We had been camping and wanted one night in a hotel before travelling home. There wasn't much accommodation left in the town as it was a public holiday. For what we got it was very expensive. No tea/ coffee making facilities. The room stank of sewage either from the river or toilet. It was very basic. They didn't serve ferries... More

An old charming, with lots of character !! Lovely village central location . Gorgeous French cuisine in what looked like last century restaurant, old Citroen car mini museum in the hotels yard, wright on the old mill and a little lake, few mins from the beach .........

My wife and I spent three nights here. We've stayed in Wissant 3 times previously self-catering so we know the village well. This hotel is full of character - typical French family owned establishment. Could list number of things that could be improved but life is too short for such triviality! We did dine here one evening after an exceptionally... More

Having read previous reviews, we entered this hotel with some trepidation, but found it a wonderful place to stay. Ok, no TV, but if we wanted to watch TV we would have stayed at home. There is no need for the box, when there is a massive beach 200 meters away, and the GR "Via Francigena" (Canterbury - Rome) passes... More

We chose this hotel from photo & fact that restaurant was advertised as mainly serving fish. We stayed on a Wednesday night and did not know that restaurant was closed, as were quite a few others in the town. Also the ones that were open closed very early evening- closing at 20.30. But the boy on reception was very helpful... More
