My third visit to Wissant and first time at the Bellevue. Without a doubt excellent value for money and the rooms were clean and functional. The staff make you feel very welcome and the freshness of the breakfast was excellent. Will be back....

I stayed here for one night recently in a comfortable en-suite triple room. It had, as the hotel's name suggestions, a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and on-the-doorstep sandy beach. It is just a short walk from Wissant town centre, where there is an idyllic and laid back feel. It feels very French - lovely. There are some nice... More

We booked for our first night in France and it is a good location with good parking. Room was small but clean and staff friendly and helpful though they did have difficulty with English. It is fairly nondescript but it does have a faded charm and we stayed there on out last night in France two weeks later. If you... More

Wissant gazes at us across the Channel. The Hotel Bellevue is like something out of a period drama. You touch the bannister and your fingers tingle with other people's thoughts. It was requisitioned during the war; ask the receptionist to show you the photos of the soldiers in the dining room where you just had breakfast. Then the one with... More

Booked through the internet we needed somewhere to stay one night before the ferry the next day.. but we wanted to be somewhere traditional rather than premier Inn, Citee De Europe.. Bellevue met these criteria but sadly the hotel is in need of a good makeover, with tumbling concrete walls around the garden, tired and sad decor inside.. decorated with a... More

Popped in here having not booked anywhere to stay for a night early August this year. The lady on reception was lovely and offered us a double room for 115 Euros, includng dinner and breakfast. We were also alliwed to leave out bicycles in an unused lounge room. OK, the room was on the small side, but I was sleeping... More

We stayed here as an overnight stop having got a late ferry to Calais, only about half an hour from Calais this is just right for that. The hotel is dated but that is part of it's charm, an old fashioned town hotel. We were pleasantly surprised what a charming little town Wissant is, a nice square, some nice looking... More

Sited just on the edge of a traditional sea-side Village in France. The hotel built in the thirties, art deco style, still has a pleasing façade. the interior as well is kept well and looks well kept. The room was slightly small with a tiny adjoining bathroom. the bath/shower was a sit in bath, but usable as a shower.

We stayed in July 2011 and had great hopes about this hotel, but were VERY dissapointed. This hotel is the most tired, run-down hotel we have ever been in. Even the colourscheme is terrible - with a Atlantic coast location this hotel should be given a thorough make-over, and would possibly attract more customers. The bathroom was ALL in pink,... More

We booked this Hotel on the weight of the last review. The hotel is extremely tired and dated, but it was clean. The beds were a small double in a small room. The rooms were clean and tidy. We booked 2 rooms for saturday night - they included dinner, bed and breakfast for Euro 114 per room. Our trip to... More
