Me and my partner have just returned from 9 nights at the Mar Menor. We redeemed 6 nights with the priority club and we have never been so disappointed in a hotel. We have travelled extensively and stayed in many 5 star hotels and there is no way this is 5 star. We have stayed in better 3 star hotels.... more

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The entrance, lobby and check in were all very impressive. Our car was parked for us and we were led to a fantastic room overlooking the golf course. The room was very large, clean, bright and the bathroom was huge. Ill be as quick as I can ....basically diamond ring taken from room, notified reception at 8am to return at 5.30 for update on ring, new girl didnt know anything, neither did housekeeping that other girl was supposed to ask. Had a three night stay at the end of March. The hotel is very good with very plush rooms, extremely attentive staff especially the valet service and a pleasant golf course.
