Very comfortable, clean and all facilities we could ask for. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival - made to feel at home. The room was nicely furnished and the bed very comfortable. We slept well. The breakfast was very good. We would recommend.

We stayed here at the weekend, also after a wedding like many other reviewers. There were 3 of us so we had the Purple Room which was so comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was one of the best with delicious produce very well cooked to order. We highly recommend this B & B and would stay there again... More

Excellent in every respect. Everything you need for a pleasant break and very good value, good location and parking. It is worth staying for the breakfast on its own which is done exactly how you request it. You leave in the mornings having had the ideal start to your day.

Friends and I recently stayed at Highlands for 2 nights and had a most pleasant stay. The room was spotless, beds extremely comfortable and the breakfast delicious, locally sourced too (eggs from their own chickens, can't get more local than that!). Karin and John were extremely welcoming and Karin did all that she could to make our stay as enjoyable... More

We were plesantly surprised when booking somewhere to stay for friends wedding reception nearby... What looks like a house from the road, inside is a handful of spacious, well decorated & immaculate bedrooms with ensuite. Karin is very helpful & the beds very comfy- slept well after a night of dancing! Only complaint was wasp nest outside the window, luckily... More

My wife and I were attending a wedding at the wrag barn up the road . Booked in for a night so we didn't have to travel too far after. The house and rooms are lovely, spotless and well'll equipped. A pleasant hotel; traditional building, thoroughly up-to-date inside. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spick and span, comfortable and well-appointed. Attractive, unobtrusive touches in the decor throughout. We stayed the night following a lunchtime celebration. The hotel handled the event with aplomb, attentively looking after the 30 guests while serving a splendid lunch. The young, pleasant staff could not have been... More

Immaculate room, breakfast area. Easy parking and situated just a few minutes stroll from an historic market town centre and just a few miles from the M4. The host is super friendly and will make you feel at home, even finding supplies to keep a hungry late comer happy! Sadly I wasn't there for breakfast but I understand they're legendary! The... We stayed only one night, but wish it had been more, the rooms were gorgeous, well appointed, lots of lovely detail, and very clean and modern. And very big! We stayed in the gold room, which had a gorgeous view across the beautiful gardens out the back. I'd have given a 5 star review if only our bed hadn't squeaked... More
