Friends and I recently stayed at Highlands for 2 nights and had a most pleasant stay. The room was spotless, beds extremely comfortable and the breakfast delicious, locally sourced too (eggs from their own chickens, can't get more local than that!). Karin and John were extremely welcoming and Karin did all that she could to make our stay as enjoyable... More

We were plesantly surprised when booking somewhere to stay for friends wedding reception nearby... What looks like a house from the road, inside is a handful of spacious, well decorated & immaculate bedrooms with ensuite. Karin is very helpful & the beds very comfy- slept well after a night of dancing! Only complaint was wasp nest outside the window, luckily... More

My wife and I were attending a wedding at the wrag barn up the road . Booked in for a night so we didn't have to travel too far after. The house and rooms are lovely, spotless and well'll equipped. Karin is welcoming and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Fresh fruit, cereal, teas, coffee and a lovely English... More

A pleasant hotel; traditional building, thoroughly up-to-date inside. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spick and span, comfortable and well-appointed. Attractive, unobtrusive touches in the decor throughout. We stayed the night following a lunchtime celebration. The hotel handled the event with aplomb, attentively looking after the 30 guests while serving a splendid lunch. The young, pleasant staff could not have been... More

Immaculate room, breakfast area. Easy parking and situated just a few minutes stroll from an historic market town centre and just a few miles from the M4. The host is super friendly and will make you feel at home, even finding supplies to keep a hungry late comer happy! Sadly I wasn't there for breakfast but I understand they're legendary! The... More

We stayed only one night, but wish it had been more, the rooms were gorgeous, well appointed, lots of lovely detail, and very clean and modern. And very big! We stayed in the gold room, which had a gorgeous view across the beautiful gardens out the back. I'd have given a 5 star review if only our bed hadn't squeaked... More

Excellent B&B and would endorse what others have written regarding breakfast & hospitality, room was pleasant & clean with all facilities you could want. Only negatives I can think of are: bed was a little too soft for me (perhaps mattress needs replacing) & the single bath towel was on the small side. Would definitely consider staying again if in... We really enjoyed our stay at the Highlands of Highworth and Karin was an exemplary host. She even graciously offered to iron my shirt for an interview the next day after observing the Mrs struggling with it. Breakfast was brilliant, as has been mentioned and is locally produced. Nice runny yolks and crisp bacon. We stayed in the Gold room... More

A lovely bed and breakfast. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the biscuits provided! The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Karen and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay!
