Torn between 3 and 4 points for this because what is good is very good but some things are not so good. I agree with the previous reviewer, you get what you pay for and therefore it is good value for money. On the plus side, the landlord and family are lovely, friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is excellent.... More

I recently stayed here as a last resort, everywhere else was booked. The young lady greeting me was very pleasant and made me feel welcome. The pub is very much a traditional pub, with large dog et al. The room was adequate, and the bathroom also. I was in the room at the front of the building. Lots of noise... More

We stopped at the Plough for one night on 29th September. I booked it through Laterooms, extremely easy to do. This was the closest to where we wanted to go. It is a very old quaint pub. Excellent stay. I'm a mobile engineer so stay at many local places across the country. This has to be one of the few untouched B&B pubs left. 3 rooms, nice and very well presented.
