Had an amazing weekend break - friendly, bedrooms lovely and clean. Food was a gastronomic delight and very reasonably priced. We ate there the two nights - there was just no point in going anywhere else. we can't wait to go back !!!!!

What a lovely stay we have just had at The Plough. So quiet, lovely little village of Kelmscott near Lechlade which was also lovely. So much to do, if you have a car, for couples and families in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Gloucestershire,Warwickshire. The Inn was so nice, clean, staff so friendly and quiet. Staff were not just friendly, courteous... More

Although I have lived in Oxfordshire for 30 years, this is the first time we have eaten here, but it won't be the last. My Family and I visited for Mothers Day and it was a complete success, made so by all the varying factors that make a good pub into A Great Pub. This is a difficult trick to... More

This was a Groupon Offer. 4 of us stayed for 2 nights. 'William Morris' room. 4 poster bed very quiet and comfortable. Cream Tea on arrival very nice with plenty of tea or coffee. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, piping hot and beautifully cooked. Choice of cooked breakfast, so could mix and match what you preferred. Quaint traditional pub... More

We stayed for two nights at The Plough and had a wonderful time. The Georgian Room was really lovely, absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend away. The bar area was really cosy, so much so that we stayed in there to eat both nights we were there. The burgers are superb, huge and homemade, and the full English breakfasts were... More

Just back from 2 days in pure pleasure, staying in the Georgian Room. We wanted peace and tranquillity, and boy did we get it. Took my girlie for her birthday to get her away from the big city. Josie and team (locals in the bar too) are sooooo friendly and could not do enough for us. They arranged a special,... More
