Spent a couple of very enjoyable hours at the Crown supping cider. Very quaint down to earth with very friendly locals. They have a superb juke box and I was given a few strange looks when I put 3 Level 42 tracks on. This pub is awesome.

An incredibly welcoming pub that combines good beer with and warm welcome. The locals were very kind in that when informed we were undertaking a fifty mile walk for charity they passe round the hat to boost funds. Kind gesture. An ideal venue to unwind, take on fliud for the next day's walk!

This is what a local pub should be like, wooden floors, dart board, pool table, proper bar and .......... Locals. A pity about the local brewed beer though where the summer ale doesn't taste of summer at all. In fact they all taste the same. Sorry Benny.

I simply LOVE this pub! I've visited many times now, and it still has the WOW factor for me! The micro-brewery has recently been revamped so the pub is brewing it's own ales again, and what fabulous ales they are! The staff are friendly and welcoming & happy to talk between serving customers. The pub is extremely popular with locals... More

Great Staff, Great Band, great Night. What more can I say. It was my first time in Lechlade, and a very good evening was had by all. I would recommend the Town to my friends and family. It is Very picturesque.

An incredibly welcoming pub with good beer, if you're in Lechlade take the time to visit the Crown. Fussball fans should check out the table football (50p a game) in the back, which has an unusually attacking formation of players that led to some cracking matches

After a thirty mile walk we steped into the Crown Inn letchlade in nead of refreshment and rest and got so much more! As soon as they heard about our walk, the beautiful landlady and local patrons took us in. When they heard we were walking to raise money for new health charity Fill That Gap (www.fillthatgap.org) they went further... More

Great beer, great music, the local customers go out of their way to make newcomers welcome and the landlord and landlady are great. They also love the Isle of Wight which is good with me as I grew up there. If you want a real British pub, and to be made to feel right at home in it, this is... More
