If you go, best to stay in the main building not annex. The restaurant is excellent. Plenty of opportunity for walks in this rural area and other attractions a short drive away. Best for seminars weddings or one overnight stay en passant.

Had been advised to try this location out for one of our meetings! I must say that the meeting room, the service and the food quality were delivered.... We really enjoyed our meeting and we may think moving there indeed! Food is delivered from the restaurant literally next door and we have been bluffed, really good experience... Do not hesitate!

My Father mentions in his WW2 diary that he visited here, many times, during September 1944. It was Battalion HQ for the 9th ID. As part of my research I found this place on the Internet and saw it was now a Hotel and Restaurant. My friend GAIL and I stayed 3 nights here and loved it! We felt like... More

Stayed here one night as part of a tour. The room was very large with good views. Staff was very helpful. There was a function in part of the hotel so the restaurant was slightly under staffed. It took a long time to get orders in but the food was very good. Would have loved to have had a choice... More

Stunning scene on arrival. We stayed for 1 night whilst doing a track day at Spa which is about 20 mins away so perfect distance for warm up/cool down. Staff speak good english, check in easy n we stayed in main building on 1st floor A6. Room was very big n spacious with all facilities expected and an exceptionally large... More

We stayed for three nights during the Grand Prix weekend. We had rooms in the annex which were fine but it is clear that there are better rooms in the main building (at a higher price). There was no bar as such but we did enjoy the restaurant. Although we had intended to dine elsewhere, we changed our minds and... More

Stayed for one night on a business trip with a colleague. Welcome was warm and the rooms were clean, tidy and well equipped. Room heating was adjustable and very responsive. Although we did not stay for breakfast we did eat in the retaurant in the evening. The staff were attentive, spoke pretty good English, and the food was very good... More

whilst a probable location for conferences to which it seems quite suited, i was disapointed. not really suited for pivate or family use, the hotel is not intimate, quite impersonal and not vry functional. quite untidy (trolleys all over the floors, poor lighting, open doors, etc). Rooms dark and impersonal; quite institutional! mouly environment... staff was friendly though and restaurant... More

Very friendly staff, at the reception as well as in the restaurant. Nice location. Good breakfast. Large and practical bathroom. We stayed in a standard room, which we do not recommend. The rooms are very dark and have very poor decoration. There was a mouldy smell in the wardrobe. There were several stains on one of the towels in the bathroom.

We were booked in for a conference but also managed a bit of tourism. The chateau is a magnificent building in very good upkeep. Staff were all very friendly with good english. The bedrooms, in the main building, were excellent: large and well equipped and given the location very quiet. The conference rooms were also well equipped and spacious. We... More
