Mary, thanks for your kind review. We're lucky to have such a beautiful rainforest setting for our cottages and yet we're only a few minutes from the lovely village of Montville with its cafes and restaurants and interesting shops. The perfect location! Hope to see you again some time. Louise and Trevor More

Stayed 2 nights, the hospitality shown from Lousie and Trevor were wonderfull, we were given choices of where to eat and/or have coffee, tried them all and were not disapointed. Our cottage was well set up, clean, had great views and with such a lovely comfortable bed, when it rained on Saturday afternoon we laid in bed watching DVD's which... More

Thanks for choosing Montville Grove for your weekend away, Greg. We're glad that our restaurant and cafe recommendations suited you. And yes, the sourdough bread from Montville Bakery is delicious; that's why we put a loaf in our breakfast hamper. We'll pass on your compliments to our baker Jason and his team. Hope to see you again. Louise and Trevor. More

We spent a long weekend at Montville Grove and can't speak highly enough of our stay. The whole weekend was great and service was superb, but it was the little touches that made our stay so special. Local smoked bacon and fresh eggs for breakfast, really special wine and superb local produce in our hamper, and a well stocked firewood... More

Hi Seamus. We're glad you got the opportunity for a fire. We keep our wood caddies stocked and the fires set all year; you never know when it might turn chilly up here in the mountains! Thanks for the compliments on the breakfast basket. Our butcher Les is always chuffed when we pass on TripAdvisor praise. Hope to see you... More

My wife and I recently spent a delightful weekend in the Montville Grove Avocado cabin. If we had written down all our criteria for a perfect weekend retreat, this would have ticked all the boxes! A beautifully appointed cabin with polished boards, a fabulous view over a secluded garden, wood fire if required, gas cooktop, even freshly roasted Montville coffee... More

To top it off we were walking distance from my Dad's birthday party!! Thank you... More

We love it when people come back for a second or third stay so it was lovely to see you both again. Glad you enjoyed the breakfast basket. Our butcher smokes his own bacon so that's why it tastes so good. And our eggs come from a local farmer with chooks that are not just free-range but also nomadic! Hope... More
