Excellent, comfortable rooms, good kitchen, friendly service. Too often we are disappointed about reviews with high notes, for places that don't correspond to price and expectations. This is a hotel where you pay a correct price and you get value for money.

Very nice and spacious, clean rooms, splendid views from your balcony overlooking the river Maas, excellent food, nice surroundings for walking or biking, quiet and small scale hotel. This is one of the exceptional places where just everything is perfecly right.

Stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The room was very large and comfortable, the bed exactly the way I like it. Also the personell was very friendly. The Highlight was the breakfast, not buffet style but served right at the table… fresh fruit, a bread basket, cheese and meat and everything of high quality. Only pain... More

Classical cuisine, good quality. Excellent, spacious rooms. Nice location with view of river Maas. You need a car to come there. Parking (garage) available. There is a bus stop. We enjoyed a special offer of 90 eur pp for fixed meal and stay overnight, breakfast included. Good value for money. Normal prices rather higher. Nothing much to do in surroundings... More

Luxury spacious room with beautiful view on the river Maas. We experienced some technical flaws however: the bubble-bath was unserviceable, the light in the mirror was not working, the beautiful radio-controlled clock was standing still and there was a bright red light blinking on the telephone (we were advised to put a book over it). The presentation of the food... More

First hotel with bathrobes in xxl! Mineralwater, coffee tea, fruit in the room. Restaurant is well known for asparagus menu in april, may and june. Breakfast is superb. Had a... More

This hotel is located at the river Maas but also at a busy road and quite distant from everything. If you cross the road, there is the national park Maasduinen. Great for walking and cycling. The hotel and restaurant are looking a little dated, but the rooms and the restaurant are excellent. Very spacious, balcony with view on the river... More

The "Hamert" is a small luxury hotel set on the banks of the river Maas. All the large bedrooms are identical in size and decor wih half facing the river/countryside and half facing the forest/road.It is worth paying the supplement for the rooms on the riverside. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.Bikes can be hired from the hotel... More
