Stayed for two nights in October. Beedroom was wonderful. A four poster bed and large en-suite. Julia was charming. Told us of all the back roads to use to get around and directed us to a great hotel for our evening meal.

Turn back time when you enter this lovely 16th century cottage set in a pastoral scene right from Jane Austen. Lovely regency furniture and antique knick knacks occupy their place and give this home a warmth and charm second only to our hostess, the lovely Julia.

Julia was a welcoming host and after showing us to our rooms, provided tea and cake in the lovely garden.
Comfortable rooms, excellently appointed - the only downside was that you have to remember to ask for milk! No little pots of milk (however horrible they are!)

We turned up for our Easter 2007 booking on Good Friday - and nobody was there at the cottage. Eventually (at 7pm) we had to give up and find alternative accommodation. No response has been forthcoming from the cottage at all, including to refund our deposit. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
