Dreadful. Paid £50 extra just to leave the next morning as soon as I woke up cancelling any further nights in this place. Arrived in England & took train to Bath. Accommodation is not in Bath but in middle of nowhere & Agoda said this place had wifi - our room had no wifi we had to go down to... More

Set just out side of Bath near to Peasdown St.John this is a great little family run English Inn. We had to arrange a funeral in Bath and we used the Prince of Wales as somewhere for family to stay. The food and service were excellent. This is a real pub and restaurant, not some plastic chain clone.

Stayed on a Friday basic but you are just outside Bath on the bus route or a short drive to the centre. Enjoyed a drink in the bar and breakfast was cooked to order and lots of toast. Ideal if you are looking to go into Bath the next day. Thank you to the staff

My partner and I booked this last minute and never again will I book in haste. Room 3 was tired mouldy in the corners and around the windows. Bathroom not very clean old wooden loo seat not very nice. We arrived at 6 on the evening with no welcome at all. The stairs to the room were filthy. With some... More

Cute little B & B. Very clean, well kept twin room. Bathroom was big, clean with a good shower! Upon arrival we asked about bus times - this was no trouble and even had a timetable of buses brought up to us - along with ones for getting back to the pub in the evening. Breakfast was freshly cooked and... More

Cheap and not overly cheerful would best describe this place. The food is OK but not the best but as the village pub The Wagon and Horses is a dump both dirty and unfriendly and dangerous to get to as you have to walk in the road as the paths are overgrown . Traffic noise is a problem too.

This B and B has very mixed reviews. My experience falls into the lower category. It is on a very busy road and out of a 3 night stay I only slept well once with the aid of ear plugs. The place is 'tired' and could do with some redecorating and some re plumbing. It doesn't take much to reseal... More

If you are looking for luxury, don't stay here but if all you want is a clean bed and a basic room at a reasonable price, then this place is ideal. It is tatty and needs lots doing to it (although the exterior is undergoing repairs) but the views from the rear are pretty and the food/ breakfast quite nice.... More

We stayed one night with some friends while visiting Bath - the outside does look tired and in need of some TLC, but once in the pub it was clean and tidy and the beer was well kept and tasty. The rooms were clean and tidy and functional for the night, not massive rooms but plenty of space for a... More

I booked this pub to celebrate an 80th birthday for my sister, and on arrival at the Price of Wales, realised my mistake in booking their back room to hold the family party. The owner Graham, must have some blood tie to Basil Fawlty, as there was no warm welcome on arrival, and we were made to feel that he really... More
