My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at The RockHouse and we can honestly say there was no where else in the world we'd rather have been. We stayed on a B&B basis in the room at the very top of the house. It had the most stunning views across the loch. The furnishings and decorating were so beautiful... more

I'm kind of loathe to write this review as I want to save this place for myself! And that's a rare find! This was the last stop on our honeymoon and after a week of rain I had given up on any sunshine! But, as we drove along the South Tay Road and turned into the Rockhouse drive it turned... more

My husband and I have just returned from a most wonderful two night stay at Rock House which surpassed all our expectations (which were high following the previous Trip Advisor rave reviews and having stayed, we whole heartedly agree with!). Situated on an elevated position on the south side of Loch Tay, Rock House is a cleverly designed house which... more

Having read the excellent reviews on RockHouse we were really looking forward to our stay and were not disappointed. Set in a stunning location above Loch Tay with fabulous views from every angle, the house is very homely filled with interesting books, pictures and ornaments and yet has an attractive modern feel with it's design and light airy open living... more

My husband and I were lucky enough to say in Sky Cottage for several nights in late July. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Every detail about the cottage was geared toward beauty and comfort, and Penny and Roland could not have been nicer or more helpful. And Penny is a fabulous chef, I am so glad we... more

We stayed in the B&B for 2 nights, in the room upstairs. Penny & Roland are wonderfully inviting hosts, and make you feel like old friends from the moment you walk through the door. The B&B itself is in an amazing building ( think Grand Designs) with a lovely open plan living/ kitchen/dining space. Our room was beautiful, set into... more

After much research and review reading we decided that Waterfall Cottage at RockHouse would be the perfect venue for my girlfriend and I to retreat to and recharge at for 3 nights after a hectic family wedding. In addition to it’s great location, the beautiful photos on their website and the consistently positively glowing reviews, the feature which most attracted... more

We are a couple in our early 30s. We stayed at Rock House over May bank holiday w/e. We had searched for somewhere to stay in Scotland with a beautiful location and a more contemporary , fresher feel than the typical tartan and hunter style hotels more frequently found around the lochs. When we arrived, we were blown away. The... more

An excellent location on the south side of Loch Tay, amongst the trees on a promontory, a couple of hundred feet above the loch. The modern house is a stunning design, worthy of the better on Grand Designs, which nonetheless blends into the countryside. We had one dinner with the hosts, Penny and Roland. Excellent cuisine, and continuous and entertaining... more
