As previous posters have said, Paul and Wendy are personable hosts. Paul is very talkative! Its a boat. That means that the cabin ceilings are low (I'm short and still have to bend in the shower). Came to our rescue - really lovely hosts. Quirky and unusual - lovely and warm and a shelter from the rain on what must have been the worst weekend of the year so far. Wendy and Paul really good hosts, the cabins snug and fabulously clean. A real experience. Breakfast and service great. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for an escape from London. We went for a weekend and Paul and Wendy were wonderful. So welcoming from the moment I booked it to our late arrival to our departure. Genuine hospitality. We were taken by the idea of staying on a gunboat. There was a small novelty but it soon wore off. Very cramped conditions and a shower that was very reluctant to flow . Very boring breakfasts.
