Gorgeous rooms, very comfortable bed. Nice touch with heated bathroom floor. Very welcoming staff. Couple of small snagging points like the fact the shower needed sealed as it flooded the place if u were in too longand the grout was needing cleaned. Bathroom door was needing adjusted as didn't close and if it did u needed someone to push it... More

On Saturday 7th April, Glenskirlie helped us celebrate our perfect wedding day! I have so much to say about Glenskirlie, so please bear with me through this long review!! A wedding in a castle wasn’t really what we wanted so had never really thought of Glenskirlie as a possible venue. However, I ended up on the website and realised that... More

From the minute the brochure box arrived at my door I just knew I wanted to have the most amazing day of my life at the Glenskirlie. We married in may 2011 at the castle and it was just perfect from the first meeting with Lynne until we checked out as mr and mrs. We had guests travelling from north... More

One place not to miss! A 21st century build with an interior reflecting the the history of the past and providing the needs of the present. A superbly presented meal for around 80 guests rounded of with a good going ceilidh. Stayed overnight, extremely comfortable room. Breakfast in the morning was cooked to order, & excellent. Breakfast room converts to... More

Following a family day out at the Falkirk Wheel, we had heard of Glenskirlie and decided to call, having been advised that from 5.30pm the Restaurant Grill was open. We were a party of Mum, Dad, Grannie, Grandad, 1 child @20months, 1child @1 month. Welcomed on arrival and the place couldn't have been more accommodating. Staff were excellent and plentiful,... A late booking but they managed to squeeze us into the Fine Service Restaurant despite being very busy. The service was very attentative and relatively slick despite the numbers and the meal was very good from a varied menu selection. A large selection of wines on offer - we chose a very good Malbec. Our first visit to the restaurant... More

My partner and I stayed here last weeked as a special surprise for my birthday. From the moment we entered the castle we were extremely impressed by the service and surroundings (a special thanks to Irene for giving us a tour round the castle!). To my surpise we were booked into 'New Dawn' the white bridal suite, which was absolutely... More

This is absolutely fantastic place up untill a few years ago this was old house just off the A80 which valued its business on lunch and dinners in the fine cuisine restaurant with a lovely cosy bar area which also offered first class food and wedding per day, its gone from strength to strength. The food in this place should... More
