Alona Tropical Beach Resort is well rated so we try it, this was a bad choice. This resort is very well situated on the Alona beach but execpt if you can have a bungalow the view will be only coco trees. Trees are so tightly spaced that the area is dark and humid. Relatively ok resort in Alona. Nice location. Staff are generally nice, greeting you every now and then. Live music (oldies but goodies) every night. Food is so-so. No hot water. No remote control for the TV.
