I would like to recomend the reggae guesthouse in Alona beach. the owners have a long background in the hospitality trade and are very friendly and helpful! Everything is kept clean and nice, although it's not a five star I can say it's excellent value for money. My friend managed to get a major sunburn and the management was quick... More

The houses are very cute and there is a lovely garden in front of you. Everything is in reggae style decorated and fancy. The owner asked me to write a review on ta, so i'll do that. We arrived very late, owner, staff nd guests very drunken. They didn't explained anything about breakfast or sth. Else. The next evening the... More

The Reggae Guesthouse is owned by a very nice French couple, Christine and Georges will make you feel instantly at home : they were very helpful to present us all the activities around, and every night sees a lot of their friends coming to the bar, for a very nice atmosphere. Christine, George, Chacha, Gigi and CJ gave me a truly wonderful experience. I honestly felt part of the family, meeting many locals and having so many activities taken care of - they were able to organize everything. I am so thankful for their hospitality and know we have the beginning of a wonderful great friendship. A few notes. The spot... More

I loved this guesthouse, it was so chilled out, and the huts are all beautifully built and decorated, and the garden area is great. The couple that run this place were also absolutely lovely and helpful! Hugely recommended!

If your tricycle driver can find it (its not too far from the beach), this is a real cosy place to stay. A little treasure in Panglao with great atmosphere and staff. I was there as a couple and stayed there for about a small week. Staff is very helpful and kind.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Reggae Guesthouse; to be honest, there wasn't anything to complain about. Rooms (cottages) are in Filipino style and it adds to the charm. The rooms don't have aircon, but trust me you don't need one, especially at night! When it comes to the location, it was just around 10 minutes walk to the... More

Cons: - Incredibly noisy day and night (traffic from the muddy road directly behind the paperthin walls of the... More

First - the staff here are lovely. Chacha is a wonderful lady who is a joy to talk to. Paul and the other French owners are super accommodating and very friendly and fun-loving. I guess I am getting a little old for basic accommodation. It is clean, but very basic. Essentially a hut with a bed, fan and shower. It... More
