I stayed here for about 14 days. The room was functional. The shower was nice, the beds were stiff but comfortable, and the AC worked well. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the beach, and maybe 5 more minutes to the restaurants and action at Alona beach. The staff are very nice and will help you arrange any... More

The Alona Beach Resort is a great place to relax, unwind and explore Bohol. There were a group of 5 of us visited for 3 days, exploring, island hopping and chilling on the local beach. The accommodation was clean with everything you need including AC, decent shower, TV and WiFi, and there was a central bar area for breakfast, snacks... More

This place was fantastic. Room was php1500 for 3 of us, we stayed 3 nights. Bit far out from the beach, maybe a ten min walk, we had rented motorbikes so wasn't a problem. Amazing showers, best I had the whole month I was traveling the philippines. Also by far the nicest room I stayed in - great beds, new... More

I stayed in Alona42 for 6 nights and had an overall positive impression. The staff and the owner are very friendly and always helpful. The room has aircon, TV with lots of channels and wifi. It (incl. the bathroom) was in top condition and cleaned every day. The resort has a small lounge where you can buy drinks, breakfast and... More

Rooms were comfortable and had everything needed for a beach holiday ... and to keep cool on some very hot nights. The shower was the best I've had in the Philippines - hot and invigorating pressure. The staff were friendly and very willing and the food available in the hotel was adequate. The beach was a short (5 to 10... More

Despite the many positive reviews, we have mixed feelings about this place: ++ Nice little mini-resort with good quality bungalows and a nice little garden in the middle. Friendly Filipino staff The place is a 10-15min walk away from the action but this makes it quiet unless... -- ...the German owner and his friends were partying two nights in a... More

This place was amazing! Perfect, I think. Staff was very friendly and helpful, nothing to complain. Room was big, and so was bathroom. Water came with good pressure in shower, and water was warm There was a terrace front of the apartment. It was also great because it was raining almost every day. So even if it was raining we...
