The front of the building looks good but don't be fooled. There may as well have not been any walls because you could here everything! Walk down the hallways and you could here everyone's conversations clear as day! And the bedding was covered in stains and didn't even look like it had been washed! Me and my husband have traveled... Hotel stay was quiet. The staff very friendly. Rooms are older and bathrooms not the best but for the price it's just fine. Kids enjoyed the pool. The restaurant on location is good too. A no frills stay with no real complaints.

My family and I stayed at the Mollyockett for one night as a stop-over before visiting friends in Bethel. It is a less expensive lodging option for visiting the Bethel / Sunday River area. Keep in mind that it is about a 20 minute drive to Sunday River. The motel is very dated but clean. The room we stayed in... More

Nice overall facility! Really nice family resteraunt with good food and reasonably priced. Nice warm indoor pool area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. A little further from skiing and other amenities.

My wife and I have been coming to this motel for the past 12 years and let me say the owners Fran and Tim have done a great job improving this motel. Yes it is older but it is well maintained. They cater to all types of travelers the rooms are clean and comfortable and they offer a mix of... More

I have stayed at the Mollyockett many times. Fran and Tim are very friendly, Christian innkeepers. They work hard to make sure your stay is comfortable. If anything isn't right, it is immediately taken care of. The food at the Crosstone Restaurant is good, not gourmet, but I don't look for that in a motel. The pool is very popular... More

First of all, we stayed here due to a family gathering in the area and had little choice in where we would stay. This explains why I agreed to stay at a lodging that has no handicapped rooms. This place is really rough on access! It is an old motel that has had a series of updates done, but none... More

The motel rooms are clean and beautiful. I stayed with my wife and 3 kids. Tim's knowledge of geography is astounding! Upon arrival Fran gave me a map of the locals rockhounding mines (all free to visit.) My children had a great time looking for gems and hidden treasures. The swimming pool and on-site restaurant are also amazing. Tim took... More

This is a basic motel room with a family feel. We used it as inexpensive accommodations to go skiing at Sunday River. The people running the motel are friendly. There is a restaurant on site that is great for breakfast and dinner. The kids love the pool. If you are looking for upscale this is not the place for you.... More

The owners are friendly. The place is out of the 1950's with updates from the decades in between. It seems down-home Maine. The owners keep it up with their own efforts and make sure the restaurant provides well prepared food at inexpensive prices. The locals in the restaurant provide plenty of entertainment. It could use some updating, but the prices... More
