Just passing through, as we have so many times. Stopped and stayed, as we've meant to for years...what a treat! Why didn't we ever stay here earlier? Clean, comfy, with everything you could need. Not luxurious, or recently updated...but special and unique. Our room had a queen, double, and twin. We spent an hour talking to the proprietors at check-in,... More

This was a return stay for one night while visiting with family in the area. Check in was fast. Owners are great wonderful people very friendly. The rooms are basic but super clean. Very conformable beds. The decor is kind of cabin style with charm. Also ate breakfast in there restaurant it was yummy. My son had ordered the big... More

The motel that time forgot. We got the impression that the couple who owns this place maybe inherited it many, many years ago, and instead of making improvements, they have done the bare minimum to maintain it. The towels were threadbare. Linoleum walls/flooring looked as if there might be another layer underneath, or perhaps the fact that it was all... More

Nice older motel, family run. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds. bathrooms are clean and in good repair. outside of the motel is clean and orderly as well. Located on a state highway, but not loud. Restaurant located on the premises, also very good. Its worth the rate charged.

I have stayed at the Mollyocket nine or ten times over the past dozen years, to visit relatives in the area. The rooms are clean and the restaurant well run. I have felt safe staying there in a single room. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the rooms do not seem to get the update that they need after many years of... More

Friendly owners, quaint. Air conditioner did not cool the room, and was not even vented to the outside. It was suppose to cool the room down to 70. I am a person who is always cold and sleeps with blankets all year round. I slept on top of the covers as it was so warm. Decor is outdated, green formica... More

I gave it four stars because it's a very well-kept property. The staff (the owners) were both friendly and personable. The furniture was old, but clean, which is fine by me. They have an indoor pool, but I didn't try it. The air conditioner worked fine. The TV was an older model, but I don't watch TV.

I was taking a road trip through New England, and happened across this motel at dusk after seeing quite a few deer wandering into the roadway. As I hadn't seen any other motels since I left Bangor on the backroads, I stopped for the night. Having traveled for work to remote locations for years, I am used to staying at... More

I greatly enjoy the amazing scenery, hiking and kayaking that this region has to offer. This was my first non-tent camping stay in the area because I was traveling with my family this time. For me, the stuff I value most as a traveler was fine. I was able to bring my dog. They had a good sized pool with... More

Our group of quilters had a wonderful retreat at the Mollyockett. The owners, and staff were great, the food was fabulous and the sewing room was just what we needed. All this and reasonable prices! Worked out great for us.
