Fabulous stay in this family run hotel. Food was fantastic. My husband had great meat/fish meal, but the great surprise was my meal. As a vegetarian I often have to take fairly ordinary food but this was exceptional. Course by course I was as enthusiastic as my husband about the food presented to us. As for the dessert - wow!!!

On our tour through Scotland we stayed there for a night. It is a nicely located and quiet hotel. Very friendly people and we had a lovely dinner. Our cosy room was under the roof. The hotel can be recommended.

Welcoming staff. Great food. Nice location especially if you travelling by public transport (near to trainstation and bus stop). Single room looks nice, BUT as is described on the site: "This room can be connected with an adjoining Superior Double Room to create a family room for 4 people". If your travelling alone the room of course isn't connected with... More

We were made very welcome from the start. Bar meal in the evening was beyond reproach. Try the salmon for breakfast - unbeatable! The room was a bit small, just right for one night, but probably not for a longer stay. Well appointed, VERY clean, also the bathroom. We would always come back!

We spent two nights here. It's a perfect base to explore this part of Scotland including the immediate area around Glenfinnan where there is plenty to see and do. Our room was cosy and clean. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful - a lovely family hotel.

Where to start?! From the minute we walked in to the minute we departed we were delighted with our stay here. Ina and Kieran are a great team, Ina with her friendly, interested and interesting chat and Kieran with his delicious meals. Shona the barmaid and Alistair (owner's son) were helpful in every way possible. We are already planning our... More

We stayed at the Prince's House Hotel in August 2014. It is very well situated for everything to do around the Glenfinnan and Loch Shiel area. We ate in the hotel (dinner and breakfast) and both were excellent. The service was sparkling, and everyone we spoke with was helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend it, and definitely return there.
