A lovely hotel run by a really welcoming couple for whom nothing was too much trouble. Located on the A830 main road but still quiet. A good location for exploring the Southern Highlands and really convenient for Glenfinnan station with trains to Fort William and Mallaig including regular steam trains during the summer. A good choice of food both in... More

Recently visited The Prince's House Hotel on a little tour of Scotland and the highlands. I don't really have anything negative to say at all here! Rooms were very spacious and comfortable - loved the proper coffee and tea machine! We had dinner in the main restaurant, and the food was superb! The chap that served us (I think the... More

I had already written a review using tripadvisor but, when I came to submit it, it told me there was a configuration problem and promptly deleted everything I'd typed. At this point I lost the will to live which is not the hotel's fault which was fine but a considerable waste of my time.

Treated myself to 3 nights at the Prince's house hotel after seeing Glenfinnan viaduct and the West Highland railway featured on Great British Railway journeys. Just fell in love with the stunning scenery! Prince's house is literally a few hundred yards from the train station, in a beautiful location. I was greeted by Ina, who along with her sons made... I was made to feel most welcome from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The room was very clean and well presented, the food was good and the wine list quite comprehensive. What more can one add.

We were on our 10 year anniversary trip in Scotland in June. Prince's house hotel is situated ideally between Fort William and Mallaig on the beautiful road to the Isles. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in a local, family owned and run hotel. The younger son, husband and wife team run the hotel with love... More

Stayed here with my husband and our niece while touring the Highlands. Quaint and welcoming hotel. Warm and homey decor. Don't expect modern, but antiques and comfort. The rooms were clean and fresh. Our bathroom appeared to have been recently decorated. Great water pressure in the shower! The dinner menu looked delicious. We opted for dinner in the hotel pub.... More

It is located just 2-3 mins drive away Glenfinnen monument and Harry Porter Railway. We heard that the house was built on 17th century, they have very decent design. Rooms are clean, well decorate, and have everything that you need, especially they have lovely nespresso coffee machine and cups! We not only had breakfast there but also dinner. We ordered... More

We recently stayed two nights at Princes House (May 26th & 27th), using it as a base for exploring the area and the Isle of Skye. The welcome and hospitality of the owner (the very charming Ina) couldn't have been warmer, our room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable, and both dinners in the bar (prepared by Ina's husband) were hearty... My third time at this hotel, which I have used as a base for hillwalking in the area. The welcome is marvellous and the food is excellent. Don't forget to book at least one evening in the restaurant to enjoy a fine dining experience. The bar food is very good too, and also substantial!
