We had a standard ocean view room that was typically furnished and very clean. Two small balconies looked right out onto the ocean, lido and rocks; not really big enough or open enough to sit and enjoy the view, though. The toiletries were very basic. The breakfast buffet was good and also had a view to the ocean, though the... More

I praised this hotel last october but made some sharp remarks on the quality of the breakfast. I was here with clients touring together and they liked all of it - friendly staff, nice spacey rooms, divine view and a town with nice ambience. The breakfast had a very nice choice and offered the good bread so necessary when in... More

The view from our window was exceptional, and at night we fell asleep to the sound of water lapping against the beach rocks. Unfortunately to leave your room is to lose the tranquility. Except for one young lady who was kind and helpful, the staff was rude. With an obvious disgusted look, getting up from a back room and coming... More

Having had groups in several hotels in the Acireale area during several years my conclusion is that the hotels are not up to expectation. It is either sourly staff, complete lack of organization, lots of equipment broken or noise. FInally I was coming to Faraglioni with more than 40 persons and it was just delightful. The staff in both reception... More

We arrived in Sicily at Catania Airport and this was our 1st hotel where we stayed for 2 nights. It is located just few km from Catania city and still away from all the traffic and crowd. Front line at Riviera dei Ciclopi. Great view and easy access to the beach platform in front and different water sports offered. The... More

Amazing view of the world famous Faraglioni. Located on the main strip called Via Lungomare. They also have parking, but very hard to find. I checked in and was escorted to parking under the hotel. Rooms are average, but the lobby and cafe up front are fun for people watching, sunsets, etc..

We stayed at this hotel just for one night. It had some pluses - near the sea, with sound of waves in the night even with closed windows. But the room needed a quick renovation - cupboard was with broken shutter, ceiling was dirty, bath had a broken shower, breakfast was poor. So you had to think about staying at... More

It was in a good position, just a 5 minute walk away from a lido with easy access to the beach. The beach along the coast is rocky with no sand, so it was worth paying 8 euros each at the lido for the day for easy access to the sea, loungers, umbrellas etc. We stayed in the hotel at... More

The hotel people were fantastic. When we checked-in, the room smelled of smoke. We immediately went down to the lobby. No problem, new room with no smell and a better room anyway. We didn't have towels for swimming in the ocean, no problem the front desk lent us towels for the entire stay. Always friendly, always helpful. The hotel has... More

Stayed at the Faraglioni with three friends last week. The location of the hotel is perfect. Bang on the seafront at the most panoramic end of this pristine fishing village fifteen minutes drive north of Catania. Just metres away from some of the best seafood restaurants in Sicily. Modern hotel with spectacular seaviews from most of the fifty rooms. Rooms... More
