We had a lovely stay in Hotel Feudo Vagliasindi. Beautiful building and grounds, clean rooms, nice pool, friendly owner. A perfect place to visit Etna, Taormina, the alcantara gole. Nice dinner on the terrace with Etna view.

Feudo Vagliasindi is about 6 kms outside of Randazzo at about 600 metres above sea level on the northern slopes of Mt Etna. It is a grand country house converted into a small boutique hotel and is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves with Mt Etna towering above at 3000 metres. You can sit and have breakfast or dinner on the... More

What a location, at the foot of Mount Etna nestled in-between vineyards and mountains. Our room had a view of the beautiful Nebrodi national park. A manor house that has recently been turned into a small boutique hotel, it's owner Paolo was very helpful, the breakfasts were comprehensive and good, the peace and quiet was priceless! Situated only 5km from... More

The hotel has a peaceful location and we had a good view of Etna spitting fire at night from the terrace. The owner and staff were very friendly. The restaurant was a disappointment. The menu was odd, with the only meat on offer being veal. Only one of the four dishes we had (pasta) was very good, and the price... More

My wife and I stayed at HFV as part of our honeymoon. The location is stunning with fantastic views of Mount Etna from the terrace area. The food was great with super friendly staff. Car hire is required as the location is remote with journey time of over an hour from Catania airport. They produce their own wine and olive oil... More

Characterful hotel with a stunning terrace with an uninterrupted vista of Etna. In the hotels grounds are a lovely swimming pools and acres of vineyards. The elegant dining room has a view on three sides of all these delights. The service is smiling and excellent and the rooms generously sized. The hotel is a beautifully restored building, part of which... More

We were there three days over Easter. An old vineyard with palazzo on top of the working rooms, nicely restored. Furniture of rooms not really top, but clean and still agreeable. What makes it stand out is the owners and their staff, really friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable. The dinner they offer is simple but good quality,... More

we stopped here enroute from cefalu to taormina and loved everything. we were invited to go on a tour of the old winery, and then participated in a wine tasting with a suisse family--lovely! the room is simple and elegant and the dinner in the restaurant out of this world. the brothers were very friendly and helpful, recommending a walk... Beautiful. Nice rooms, good food, good wine, great view direct in front of mount Etna. Randazzo is 10 minuets driving distance. They staff was very friendly and helpful. In the mourning you sit on the terrace in front of Etna and eat fresh croissants and drink a good espresso. At night, if you don't feel like going out you can... More
