Went to Port de Pollensa for a quick getaway with my girlfriend this past weekend from Thursday to Sunday to this Hotel where I used to go with my parents years ago. Great surprise when got to see that new management has taken over and few improvements have been made so far, and by speaking to the Manager there are... more

On arriving at the Capri I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs, no lift working. As I made my way up I quickly noticed how dingy and threadbare the place was. Worst of all was there was no air conditioning and as the weather was in the high 30's at the time the room was unbearably hot. The... more

Terrific location, right on the beach, close to everything. Rooms very 60's, bathrooms quite small with in-bath shower but no grab-handles. With the bath quite high off the floor, getting in and out was quite tricky with wet tiles. Stunning view from 4th floor front balcony but we had to move to a room at the back for our last... more

The entrance to the Capri can be best described as "dingy". Its squashed between a fashion shop and the Hotel bar area. The lift didn't work and we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. The carpet on the hallways leading to the rooms was covered in big brown stains, at first I thought it was a... more

My husband and I have just returned from the Hotel Capri and think the reviews on your site are very unfair. The Hotel is comfortable and very clean, the breakfasts have everything you could ask for and the staff are very nice and most helpful. We would not hesitate to return to this Hotel, we had booked a room with... more

The quality of overall finish in the Capri was at best tired and at worst downright dingy. Although we booked a sea view with balcony my wife and I eventually got to the room at the back of the hotel with no balcony after negotiating the lift that stops at half flight levels. ( ie you have to bump your... more

We stayed there this year (June 2007), and had booked a room with a balcony and seaview. Arrived to be told that they only had the one room left and it didn't have a seaview but it did have a balcony (first floor) and right over a very busy and noisy road. The room was awful, very tired looking with... more

My parents and uncle/aunt booked this hotel for a stay in August. They booked 9 months in advance and checked the week before they left to make sure all was OK. When they arrived at 1.00am they were met by a night porter who told them the hotel was full and that they had been shifted to another hotel which... more

Returned from Puerto Pollensa last week having spent 2 fantastic weeks there. Stayed at the Hotel Capri on account of it's great location, on the pedestrianised Pine Walk. Transfer from the airport was less than enjoyable, having been told that we would be the first drop off and it would take 45 minutes. In actual fact we were the last... more
