This is a thermal spa resort. Standard rooms are small, but we upgraded to a larger very comfortable room, nicely decorated with all what we needed. Reception was first class. The spa was a great experience. It has two outside thermal pools from the underground thermal grotto, with Jacuzy like streams. Great experience. The highlight was a private diving session... More

The food is supurb and the spa is the real deal. They actually have medical doctors supervising. The hotel is very well run and they will do anything to accommodate their guests. I would love to go there on vacation.

A local friend recommended this thermal spa over others in the area. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room, however, left A LOT to be desired. There were large stains in the worn-down carpet and my window faced the methane furnace and the back of the restaurant...ewww! Don't have a window at all! The only redeeming aspect of... More

with relatively high price for access to swimming pool and facilities you have only 1 swimming pool and jacuzzi area for 5 persons, occupied all the time. Closes at 6pm, no paradise panoramic view of Toscana, not here definitely...the restaurant ( the bar in reality) offers you a low-quality drinks and food with high prices ( more like being in... Have not before visited any spas in Italy but fortunately we tried it out. We had a most relaxing day in the pool. The staff was kind and helpful. The installation is well maintained. We will return next year again.

Ny husband and I stayed in this hotel in May. The hotel was beautiful though our room was very small and we had to pay a considerable amount to upgrade to a room with a balcony. We had booked this hotel as a hotel first with a spa attached. However it is very much the other way round. The spa... More

I spent four nights at the Grotta Giusti with my husband. I have to admit, at first we were a little disappointed - we had booked a suite as this guaranteed us a "terrace" and we wanted to be able to sit outside in privacy to read or maybe have a drink. The "terrace" was in fact a longish very... More

We've been on the road for 7 weeks, and discovered a gap in our accommodations--needed a place to stay for 2 days before our flight home. Grotta Giusti was just what we needed--comfortable and stressless place to get ourselves ready to return home. GG is a resort, spacious grounds, nice spa, nice restaurant, and a golf course nearby (Montecantini--not a... More
