The hotel is closed, looks like permanently. I showed up yesterday, Sept 19, to find the only decent motel full, the hotel shuttered, and finally paid too much (50 KM), for a room above the Restaurant Anika. It was clean but decorated like a cell, which is to say, I got two towels and two pillows, period. I am paying... More

My friend and I arrived in Visegrad fairly late at night and it seemed like this hotel was pretty much the only game in town. The woman at the reception desk was very friendly and spoke good English.
