The Pellestova hotel is situated not far from the Hafjell alpine resort, right at the top of the mountains with a magnificent view towards cross-country heaven! Rooms are fresh and clean, allthough not that spacious. Service is splendid - just smiling and helpful faces all around! Dinner was great as was the bar/lounge with roaring fireplace and a beautiful view... More

If you want to ski, cross contry or alpine, this is a good hotel. Its relatively new, with nice rooms good beds and surpricingly good food in the restaurant. They even have a halph decent wine selection. The are around is one of the best in the country for cross contry skiing, with daily tracks laid. The hotel's bar has... More

I visited this lovely place just for a coffee during a cross country ski. The welcome was excellent and the coffee very good. The restaurant looks amazing and from what I observed, customers were very happy. The idea of eating there and / or staying at the hotel is firmly in my mind. I stay at the bottom of the... More

After two viisits, one with my wife and one alone: A great place to go crosscountry skiing, a great place to eat and with exellent wines. The host and the hostess, Ingard and Anita were very helpfull, they even upgraded us to a suite with sauna. Arvid, the chef made outstanding dinners, and the waiter, Terje gave us interesting lectures... More

Spent 3 days with my family at this hotel this winter, and sort of felt the need to write a positive review about this place. This is a new hotel, and, to be fair, is not quite finished in all aspects, but totally fine to stay at as is. Unfinished, or lacking, were little things like information in the rooms... More

Arrived here for a two day seminar with work. The place is beatifully situated just on the tree-line above Hafjell. Lots of fancy pants cabins in the area, which to me just looks ridiculous. Pellestova looked almost brand new, and I'm sure it is. The room I got was decent. Nice sofa in there, big TV, plenty of room for... More
