Hotel Peli is a family run, well maintained hotel. Located one block from the beautiful bay at Kissamos / Kasteli. Unspoilt town which has enough facilities for a peaceful holiday. Owners friendly and welcoming. The plumbing works reliably, plenty of hot water with good drainage. Rooms are standard hotel with balcony. Kept very clean. Clean linen every 2 days. Small... More

What a fantastic family run hotel! I've just returned from a fab weeks yoga holiday staying at this hotel and it was just brilliant. The hotel gives excellent service, the rooms are great and spotlessly clean and were cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding during the week. Absolutely everything was catered for, from fridges and air con in... More

Altough the hotel is around 50mins taxi ride from Chania airport, it is absolutely worth it. The location is quiet and friendly with a beautiful beach 30seconds from hotel with gorgeous sands and clear seas. We took our babymoon here! The hotel itself is family run and exceptionally friendly. We had the most relaxing stay. Room was clean, and air... More

I was one week and cried leaving this place. The beautiful family, cosy environment, quite and comfortable place to stay and have a real relax. Exquisite Greek salat at the Pool-bar, served the way you only want. People always ready to help you and to talk in the evenings, play tavli. Unforgettable moments! I love you all!

We stayed here in autumn 2012 and have just booked for this year. I NEVER stay in hotels but this one is very special. I stayed because of a yoga course, but highly recommend the hotel for anyone wanting to experience the real Crete. Facilities were always clean, comfortable, lovely pool area and very friendly staff/owners. Kissamos is a lovely... More

Last year (2012) stayed a week in Kissamos and it was a great experience. We were looking for a quiet, pleasant place to stay and that's exactly what we got! The service is excellent - the hotel is run by a very friendly family, they were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were kept clean and tidy. The beach is... More

Kissamos/Kasteli is a rather small town in western Crete. The bus ride from Chania took quite a while. This was not the town for shopping, high-life and night life, but it was the town for exploring Cretian culture, Cretian, tourist development and engagement. Excellent base for exploring cycling, hiking, walking, new and ancient Crete, as well as ordinary swimming, beach... More
