A little remote from the old town so unable to walk there to eat after a long late drive from Murcia up to Santander ferry. We ate in and the food and service was excellent. The room was dark but very comfortable and quiet overlooking grass and trees. A quiet location. Not sure what the building was used for originally... More

There is very little to visit in Tordesillas but it is a nice place to stay between 2 visits to Salamanca, Burgos Avila or Leon.. And the Parador is definitely the best in town ! More

The Parador is a little outside the town and the road does not have a footpath which makes walking into the town tricky. We had stayed in four Paradors on this trip before this one and several on other holidays and did not feel this matched the standards we've come to expect. The staff did not make us feel particularly... More

Take note, although this parador has a fabulous pool, it does not open until the middle of June. This may surprise travellers from Northern Europe as in early June the temperature can get into high twenties (centigrade) and the failure to open the pool was a sad disappointment to my party of four. Discussing this in the bar, it appears... More

Our two day stay at Tordesillas was wonderful. It allowed us to visit Valladolid and Tordesillas without having to drive very much. The room was very clean; it had a nice window that opened up to a small pine forest. Lots of free parking. The food was exquisite; we had many well prepared foods, including "lechoncito," sausages and white beans,... More

The staff were very helpful .... and for Spain some were even friendly. As usual, the rooms are spacious ... but the bed small and not very comfortable. There is free internet and wi-fi which is great. For those of us who do not wish to wait for the 8:30 pm opening time in the restaurant, there is a comfortable... More

Heard about Paradors and thought we would treat ourselves to an overnight stop in one. What a place to find - eventually. Large car-park but obviously a popular place as spaces were full but we managed to squeeze our scooter in a gap next to a maserati. Fabulous room - almost a suite - with separate area in hallway for... More

The Parador is located too far from the city to be able to walk into town, and in any case the route is along a busy main road. The location, on this road and next to an industrial estate is unremarkable. The Parador has fairly large grounds but it would be an exaggeration to describe them as "gardens. The building... More

We stayed at Parador Tordesillias for 2 nights as a stopover on the way from Portugal to Santander. The Parador is, as stated, quite 'modern' for a Parador. The public rooms are lovely and bright but the bedrooms are really quite dark and one needed to have electric lights on at all times. The rooms are lovely and clean though... More

This was something we'd looked forward to. The first night in Spain at the beginning of a 3 week tour. First impressions were good - reasonable car park, efficient check in and a realy nice room - lots of space, clean and tastefully decorated. We went down to dinner in good spirits, entered a lovely room - and everything went... More
