Having done a sight seeing trip through the Sierra Espuna Regional Park we needed food and drink. My sister who lives in Totana comes hear often to eat, so we were confident that all would be good and it was. Lovely food at very reasonable prices. There are beautiful gardens and a lovely church to look at too.

Wow, what a fabulous place. Quiet spot tucked in the mountain, good views. We had tapas lunch in the cafeteria/bar outside on the terrace. Good food, lovely views, staff friendly. After lunch we enjoyed walking around the olive groves. Drive through Totana and pick up signs for Santa.

A 16th Century monastery located in the Sierra Espuña, extensively renovated & now providing excellent hotel accommodation. Nice restaurant, waiter service, Also cafetería & small bar leading out onto a terrace beneath trees. Sensibly priced. Well appointed rooms (I had a suite with large balcony terrace). Staff pleasant & polite. (Depending on the member of staff - English, German, Spanish... More

The winding road up to here is great for a challenging drive, better if you can ride up by Motorcycle. You can park right in the Monasterio car park for free with only a short flat walk to enjoy the sights. The Church is totally stunning inside but is only open Sundays go early if you want to attend the... More

We had a day out with friends and visited the Monastery of Santa Eulalia in the natural park of Sierra Espuna near Totana, about a one hour drive from home. You could not find a more stunning location than this, the Monastery has been converted into a four star hotel and the food is of a standard that you would... More

I have been to the Restaurant here many times over the years - for the food and the location, but twice for Sunday lunch in the last few months. I was hoping the first Sunday lunch was just a bad day, but our second Sunday lunch unfolded almost exactly the same way and was very disappointing, largely due to the... More

Peaceful. Book a room with a terrace and experience wonderful views. Eat in The Santa Restaurant for dinner. Four courses of divine food for €19. Breakfast is in the cafeteria, but at €5 for everything from cereal, cheese, ham, sausage, fruit, and bacon and eggs - exceptional value for money. Plenty of parking as well. It must be the best... We stopped here for a late lunch/snack while touring the sierra Espuna. One Salad was ordered and I had a lunch. The staff were excellent, attentive without appearing pushy. We intend to return soon, but sadly it will be after we return to Spain in October. The gardens and surrounding area is beautiful as is the chapel at the Monastery.... More

Such beautiful surroundings, excellent service and just the right quantity and quality for a perfect lunch break! The staff can only be applauded for their efforts. Tranquility at its best! Privileged to know it and the ability to use it often.

If you spend enough time in Southern Spain you will get dispirited by the del dia, menu of the day offers. A race to the bottom, cheap ingredients, miserable portions, bubbling away for hours, food as a refuelling exercise. Not at this restaurant. The menu del dial is right off the brilliant a la carte menu, two different price points,... More
