We enjoyed this quiet, comfortable inn after a week in Copper Canyon. The owners are available & interested in your every need. Breakfast was great! The location allows a walk to the market, the square, or city. I sat in a little park across the street & caught up my trip diary. The price is right! more

Hotel is on a quiet street, very lovely, walking distance to Cathedral, Pancho Villa house and other sites of interest. Owners are very helpful. if other guests come in late it can be noisy if your room is in the front, there are other rooms in the back, but overall this was indeed a lovely little boutique hotel that we... more

We (three of us) were using this hotel as a base to stay the first night and our last night on either end of a Copper Canyon Journey. It was so much more cosy and comfortable than one of the chain hotels and every room was decorated differently and tastefully with a very personal touch. There were many small details... more

A great find in a wonderful location to walk and see the city. A beautiful colonial home that is now a lovely hotel with a warm, welcome, attentive and very helpful staff. Beautifully , imaginatively decorated and still very functional and comfortable, and a lovely breakfast also! You feel very catered to but very much at home. more

A friend and I took the Copper Canyon train trip and stayed at the San Felipe El Real prior to our train trip for one night, and then after for two nights. Everyone was so wonderful to us and the room, breakfast, and amenities were excellent. You can easily walk to many locations in the historic district. The hotel is... more

The Hotel San Felipe El Real is ideal for couples seeking a romantic bed and breakfast or business travelers tired of the same old generic hotels. Located in the middle of historic Chihuahua city, this exquisitely restored house from the 1800s has all the modern amenities along with gracious, attentive staff. You cannot find better accommodations for this price. I... more

This is a beautiful, romantic spot in the heart of Chihuahua, walking distance from the cathedral and old town center. The rooms are warm and welcoming, like staying at a friend's exquisite vacation home, all facing into a peaceful courtyard. Each are decorated with charming antiques. The hotel also offers very modern amenities, such as wireless internet, but has much... more
