Chihuahua is a large sprawl of 1.3m people living in a desert. The small fashionable dog does not get its name from here - so we were told! The primary reason to visit the city is to 1) take the famous copper canyon railway or 2) Visit the Pancho Villa's house. Do both. If you have reason to stay a... More

Picked this hotel because it sounded very charming and is located near the center of Chihuahua. The owners have done a fair job at restoring this old villa but to justify the price and the term "boutique hotel" it needs a few refining touches. Rooms are very dark, which is to be expected in an old villa like this. The... More

This is a thoroughly charming boutique hotel. The room we stayed in was beautiful...but was NOT the first that we were shown so make sure to ask. The place has a great vibe, atmosphere which is a great contrast to the city iteslf. Attention to detail of the furnsihings, ornaments and decor is exceptional and breakfast cooked in the open... The hotel is actually a beautiful place to stay, small and very private, It has this old vintage like vibe and the rooms are not the prettiest but it's really worth it. As quiet as it is, it's within walking distance from downtown and cathedral, one block away from a convenience store and I suggest you save your cash for... More

A small 6room hotel, silence and cozy place with helpfull staff during the day. Homemade breakfast at cozy kitchen. Its a colonial house re-estructurade with lovely vintage stuff. Some bad points: the "jacuzzi" on the bath is a little small and uncomfortable. A small desk in both sides of the bed is needed too. Improve illuminations (inside the dorms, on... More

A really cute hotel in what seemed like a slightly seedy part of Chihuahua a few blocks from the center. Only four or five rooms, with a small interior courtyard with a table and umbrella -- an essential for Mexico travel. Nothing fancy, but it had a great vibe. Brass beds (a little creaky), classic 1930s floor tile, a temperamental... More

#1??? Only in drug-induced dreams! No window screens. No bath ventilation. The staff had no clue. Early morning coffee was the worst I have ever tasted and I'm nearly 69. NO usable over sink bath lighting. No space for a watch; travel clock, nor my wallet on the one tiny table in the bedroom. Had to beg for a functioning... More

Found this hotel on Trip Advisor and loved it. One small comment, not the hotel's fault, but it can be very hard to find. Map it well and realize downtown is a maze of one way streets, some of which change direction. but, this place is worth the trip. We arranged for the suite - they only have one as... More

We travelled to Chihuahua for only a weekend, and searched for a lovely hotel to spend a few days. This was exactly what we searched for: typically mexican, nicely decorated, qualitative and new bedding in charming decorations, clean and totally renovated bathroom, and very very friendly staff. If you look for a personalized hotel for a short escape, this is... More

We had the great fortune of booking this hotel unknown. If we hadn't, we would have missed a friendly, professional small group of people who would do everything to make the guest happy. Nancy was extremely helpful and her English good. The breakfast was a part of the room cost, and was made when you were ready for it. The... More
