A delightful place for an overnight stay in Alhama de Granada. The hotel is a small place in a quiet side street near the main square (plenty of cafes for a drink & tapas). At first we thought it was closed - but try the front door and shout "Hola". We were given a warm, friendly welcome and shown the... More

The location is great and within walking distance to the square etc. We love the open terrace where guests can chill out, overlooking the cliffs etc. We also like the jovial owners, the elderly man was a well known Flemenco singer. Breakfast is of generous portion. We didn't try their dinner, but we heard from the other restaurant owners that... More

We stayed here for three nights and loved it. We enjoyed the view over the ravine but most of all it was the hospitality of the owners that impressed. The food was lovely and our room was very comfortable. A great place for getting about and exploring the area and a nice change from a chain hotel.

Situated in a quiet street in the old part of town, but only a short walk to a main square. The hotel has a fine terrace for outside eating and drinking overlooking the gorge. We had a good room up a metal spiral staircase with its own private terrace with two sunbeds. We had two suppers in the attractive little... More

I stayed here last year, and have just booked to stay again in April and May 2015. The hotel is typical of the area; small, family run, good food and hospitality . The bedrooms are clean and the hotel offered excellent dinner options. The owner had limited English, but still better than my Spanish, and that was part of the... More

Having read all of the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to spend the last day and night of our holiday in Andalucia, which also happened to be my birthday, at Hotel La Seguiriya. It fell on a Sunday, the only night of the week that their restaurant is closed in the evening. We therefore booked a table for lunch... More

Central to the high Sierra Nevada mountains, Alhama is steeped in history which is well presented by the Local Tourist Office in English, Spanish and other European languages. Historic buildings are interesting and well maintained and modern interactive exhibitions relate the history of the area. Scenery is magnificent and varied in an agricultural area. Cycling is well established despite the... More

This hotel is in the middle of no where. Once you reach there it is a small village and this hotel is built in within the residential houses. But it is very quite and peaceful. Owners are very friendly and cooperative. They don't speak good English so you have to be patient. They upgraded us to a bigger suite as... More

Just a few rooms in an authentic old house, build on the Alhama cliff. The owner is the most charming guy, continuously talking to you in spanish, wether you understand or not. Anyhow, you get to know from him where to walk and what to do. Seems he is also a good flamingo singer.

This hotel is amazing. The food service and rooms are outstanding. When you fist walk on you think it's nothing but it is some thing. If you are going to dine at this hotel pre order the paella an frost lamb. The are charming and kind. I would defently stay at this hotel again
