I felt privileged to stay here as there are only 5 rooms. It helped that I was with my husband and I knew three other pilgrims staying here as it might feel isolated if you're solo. We had an excellent supper and a good breakfast to see us off on the walk to Lires the following day. The staff were... More

Got bus to Finisterre and walked up here - 3 km +.Stunning spot and official end of camino so lots of photographs being taken, quite moving.Excellent lunch on terrace, very few people eating surprisingly.Loved our room on top floor - like being on a ship.Stairs to look out of velux window to watch sun rise.Only 5 in dining room but... A great hotel in breathtaking surroundings. We rented three rooms for one night. Everything worked perfectly and the staff was very friendly. A bit far from anything if you are on foot, but Fisterra (Finisterre), the village a few kilometres away, can provide restaurants, bars and a few stores, if you arrive by car.

I stayed with my daughter in August 2012. She had just walked the Camino. I joined her for the last three days to Finisterre. The view from the hotel is truly magnificent! The hotel is not lavish, but it is comfortable. The staff was excellent! We had washing to do and they just gave us a bag and said put... More

When I decided to start my adventure walking the famous pilgrim's Camino (path) de Santiago, I suspected the trip would be a great source for many different articles about places, villages and people that I could share gradually on the internet. Although my pilgrimage started in April in Roncesvalles, right in the Pyrenees, I would like to start for the... More

I stayed one night at the Hotel “O Semaforo” situated on the tip of so-called “Medieval end of the World” or Cape Finisterra after I accomplished my pilgrimage to Santiago de Campostela. Hotel situated in front of the lighthouse. I had the magnificent view at the Atlantic Ocean from the three windows of my room. Room was comfortable and clean.... More

For people who love a dramatic location, the sea and have a sense of poetry and romance this is an unforgettable experience. The location is everything really but the staff were very friendly, the food excellent (no mean commendation for a vegetarian in Spain) and I would dearly love to return there one day. Yes it is not for city... More
