We stayed here after walking from Santiago. It was a little hike up the hill but given we'd just walked from Santiago, we could manage it! Plus the view was great from there. The hotel was nice and the room was lovely. We paid a little extra for a room with a view which was worth it. On arrival we... More

We relaxed here for 2 days after our Camino - I could have stayed longer! Juan was a wonderful host, totally spoiling us with fantastic dinner and wine. He was very multi-talented looking after all our requests e.g Aqua caliente and cava by the pool! Easy to find with great signage and the hill isn't that big with the view... More

A bit of a steep climb from town but well worth it. Our room had a view west out the back, so we discovered that there was another much quieter beach 5 min walk down the other side of the hill. We sat there and watched a gorgeous sunset. Room was spotless with comfy duvets on the beds. Juan, our... More

We were only spending one day here following The Camino, we couldn't book in until after 3pm. The man at the desk was very abrupt. We asked if breakfast was included in our 69 Euro price and were told it was. Next morning we were given 3 different types of bread (none of which I liked) and coffee. When I... More

We stayed just for one night on a tour of Northern Spain. We took a sea view room which was well worth the extra (prices are reasonable) lots of space, huge bed and nice seats to sit and look at the view. There is a 5min walk to a fantastic beach and for the more adventurous a longer walk over... More

We stayed one night while finishing the camino and we were pulled there by the price. The location is not the best expected as it is a little bit far away from the village, up on the hill surrounding it. The rooms and the house are really nice BUT the service is really poor. In fact, it is not an... More

We were in the region on a short visit to experience and photograph a couple of sights associated with the Apostle James. The hotel owner was very attentive and actually was one of only two hoteliers on this trip--that included 11 hotels in 5 countries--who carried our bags up the stairs to our room. The bedroom and bath were spotlessly... More

Beautiful view, spacious, comfortable room - so why did we vow never to stay there again? Possibly the (included) breakfast (2 pieces of dry bread and a cup of cold coffee), or the recycled towels (wet, hung up from bottom of bathtub, not replaced) - but mainly the attitude of the owner. He obviously doesn't like guests, doesn't want to... More

This hotel was charming and the beds are super comfy! Much appreciated after a 20 mile hike. Finisterre has a beautiful beach and coastline, don't miss it! The spa wasn't working when we were there but I had a nice long bath instead and slept extremely well. We had a skylight that opened in a room under the eves. Very... More

We were a group of 8 who stayed at Hotel Rustico Spa Finisterre and it was such a wonderful night. Everyone had a deep night's sleep due to the incredible quality of the mattresses and the beautiful view outside our windows. Our host was incredibly gracious and welcoming. It is definitely the nicest spot to stay in Finisterre at the... More
