Kind of B&B with à la carte restaurant & bar, cosy swimming pool, fantastic landscape and view over the mountains. Very quiet, though very hot at night when we were there (dad alone with 2 kids) first half of August, the surrounding area offer infinite trekking routes. Activities in the area are also plentiful, whether in Granada (about 30 minutes... More

My husband and I and our 3 kids (9,12,13) stayed here in June - unfortunately for only one night! But we will definitely be back! Paco & Ana, the owners, are incredibly friendly and attentive people and they made our time unforgettable. We felt at home from the moment we stepped into their house. Ana prepared awesome food, Paco and... More

Stayed here with my husband at the end of March for 5 nights. We loved it. Our dog loved it. Paco & Ana the owners are so friendly and helped us so much when our car broke down. We had a couple of meals at the hotel. I had steak which was cooked to perfection. We also shared a paella... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of September and had a wonderful time! We were looked after so well by Ana and Paco and enjoyed some superb house red wine and fantastic local food. Ana even came to our room and knocked on the door when our dinner was ready, real personal service!!! We went walking into... More

I was looking forward to getting here after travelling at the coast for a while. It did not disapoint and the hosts Ana and Paco were very welcoming and catered for anything we required. The menu was in Spanish so took a little time to get used to as embarrasingly our Spanish was very limited. The food was first class... More

I have stayed at Fuente la Teja a few times now and always enjoy the peace a quiet. The idyllic walks along hillside tracks and yet only 20 minutes drive from Granada centre or the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada. The hosts Ana and Paco are very friendly and helpful and all the food is prepared fresh everyday. They... More

I have been in Fuente la Teja for a couple of days to relax and walk around..I'm traveling alone and to reach the house was bit difficult with public transport, but the owners picked me up from the bus stop in güejar Sierra and gave me many lifts during my permanence. What I really appreciate was the breakfast, so yummy!!!... More

We stayed here for four nights during our mini tour of this delightful part of Andalucia. Ana and Paco were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome during our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains - it was lovely to lay in bed in the mornings and hear nightingales... More

This isn't a top class fancy hotel but it is warm, friendly and very homely. Lovely log fires, good home cooked food, excellent breakfast. Set in a beautiful rural location within easy driving distance from both Granada and Sierra Nevada. We were all made to feel very welcome.

We stayed with Ana and Juan during our trip through the Sierra Nevada. Their house is located on a remote yet easy reachable location offering a stunning view over the surrounding landscape. Even though it was very cold that night in the mountains, we received a very warm welcome when Juan heated up the fireplace for us. We enjoyed a... More
