Super peaceful resort with two pools, restaurants, free bikes, a couple of bars. There are two general types of rooms. The traditional Thai wooden home but including cable TV, aircon and a good bathroom. The other, less interesting to me, are Thai modern rooms. Perhaps a bit larger, but not very architecturally interesting. Great staff. Very helpful. The resort is... More

Living in Bangkok we always trying to escape the city...and had to say that Amphawa was a nice weekend. Baan Amphawa Resort have a nice location from the floating market, not very far. Check in was nice. Staff speak good english and are very smily. Welcome drink to refresh us. Golf car bring us to our rooms. Typically Thai style... More

Stayed in a deluxe "Thai style" room for three nights after spending the previous six in Bangkok and really enjoyed Baan Amphawa. Excellent front desk and check in - with chairs to sit in, and a receptionist who spoke perfect English in such a calm manner. Loved our room - they are dark interiors, but it just gives character to... More

An ideal choice for those wishing to explore Thai's lifestyle, cuisine and local architecture in Amphawa. The place is just an hour drive from Bangkok, very convenient. Good facilities, friendly staff and unique traditional Thai ambience.

Just visited this hotel again recently. Stayed for a night. It is a good place for short break, not too far from Bangkok, only an hour drive from capital. This hotel offers true local taste, lives along the river in those old days. It also located near Amphawa floating market, either by river or by car. What set this hotel... More

Every time I visited Amphawa, this hotel would be my first choice. Hotel has many room types, Thai wooden house, modern and pool villa. This time I stayed at pool villa. We enjoyed our short stay in this hotel. Restaurant right next to the river. Thought the food was very good. Rooms were in small Thai style houses with lots of plants and trees around in nice grounds. Bed comfortable but not enough pillows. No bedside table on one side and not much space to put things on in the room.... More

We are regular staying at the resort's pool villa. The rooms are spacious, perfect clean. The plunge pool is clean. Circulation- and Spa-pumps are working. The restaurant is not really a beauty. Thai food and wine selection is great. Breakfast buffet is loaded. Unfortunately only during weekends. The Spa is perfect place to relax.

For some reason the moment I arrived I feel I do not like this hotel. I have quite bad sleep quality here, not sure why, could be thero bed or environment around. Breakfast wasnt really good compares to the price. I did not try the spa yet, guess it is not so good. Overall this hotel is kind of on... More
