We stayed here for the weekend on a spa break for our 43rd wedding anniversary. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a standard room which was large, clean and comfy, slept great! Our break included dinner and breakfast...dinner delicous and so was breakfast. We also had lunch on Sunday which again was really good. Our day in the spa was relaxing... More

Although I have been to the spa a few times this was my first experience of staying there. Our room was well decorated in a contemporary style, clean and the bed was amazing. Queen size I believe. It was very comfortable and roomy. My husband is 6'2" so ideal. We didn't spend much time in the room as we were... More

Stayed here with work, in a group of 7. Checkin was easy (though only UK hotel I've stayed in that required a copy of my credit card :-? ). Room was nice and of ample size, complete with iron, ironing board, kettle, trouser press et al. We had drinks in the bar area. Nicely laid out with various real ales... More

Had an average stay here in September!we were disappointed we had no bath in the room and not a very good view as we were on the first floor! There was also a wedding taking place which we weren't aware of, it would of been nice if the reception told us prior of arriving! The wedding party were noisy and we... More

Spent the night at The Lea Marsden Hotel following my son's wedding. Gorgeous hotel in a lovely country setting, room was spacious with a large shower room. The full English breakfast was really tasty on a buffet basis. Staff very friendly,an attractive lounge area would stay here again. Ideal if your attending a wedding at nearby Shustoke Barns.

My wife and I stayed over a weekend. First impressions were good - smiling friendly staff, very clear and fresh-smelling, large and well-appointed room. The spa and pool are very good, and we took full advantage of the gym. Loved the large steam room with the sparkly ceiling and the large sauna. Best was the food. Clearly a talented chef... More

Stayed here for a business event. Restaurant was ok with the dishes being nicely presented but in all honesty they lacked flavour. My room was ok, nothing special at least the bed was pretty comfortable. The staff were warm and welcoming and looked after us pretty well. We were puzzled why the excellent real ales available in the golfers bar... More

Visited early feb thanks to a travel zoo deal received as an Xmas gift. Spa day included 2 course lunch, robe/slipper/towels and a mud bath experience. Facilities are nice and clean. Typical spa facilities, pool, sauna, steam room, gym and of course treatments. Chill out room felt a little too small but still comfy (although a bit cold). Lunch was... More
