The hotel was nice enough. It was clean and close to the M42 and M6 toll motorways. It's never a 4-star hotel though. Wifi doesn't work (which they regret to inform when you check in) so business travellers might find it annoying. The bar was nice and not too much of a rip-off for a hotel bar. 2 ciders and... more
I stayed here for one night as the hotel was near Drayton Manor. Although I negotiated a good rate, I wish I'd stayed in a cheaper Travelodge as it seems this hotel is specifically aimed at golfers with a huge driving range, golf club and bar and I am really not into golf. The rooms were impecably clean but not... more
I am a fan of Best Western hotels anyway, but this one beats the lot. What an excellent hotel. Although getting to the place was complicated by a diversion (not the hotel's fault) it was well worth the detour. The bedroom we had was large, spotlessly clean, fully stocked and very comfortable. We stayed here for 3 nights over the half term break. We booked a superior double room but were pleasantly surprised on arrival to find we had been upgraded to a suite. The suite was lovely - large living room with sofa bed and huge plasma television. The separate bedroom had a 4 poster bed and another big plasma telly,... more

The hotel is excellent with really nice rooms and bathrooms, lovely swimming pool which looks out over the golf course, it was really special swimming about and looking out at the lovely countryside. The staff at the driving... more

The reception, gym and bar staff are all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in an executive double room which was very... more
I stayed at this hotel for one night whilst on business in the Birmingham area. On this occasion I experienced the dreaded curse of booking via the bestwestern.com website. My online confirmation said superior double, but somewhere between t'internet and recption my booking had changed and I was allocated a standard twin room on arrival. However this was swiftly dealt... more
Had a standard room, double bed and kids had 2 "z beds" which were all set up ready when we arrived. Room seemed to have had refurb but bathroom was really needing an update. Had to take towls from bathroom down to the pool area and ask for new ones upon leaving.... not too professional. Free Wifi in the room,nice... more
