It is not run by owners so they don't invest in new pillows, mattresses and bed covers. It is also dirty and dusty. Stayed one night and run away. Expensive for what you receive For the 500 pesos it cost there are other best places. Cleaner and nicer. It is also very cold

We chose this place because it seemed somewhat sympathetical that the Posada de Creel didn't try to get you to their place as aggressively as the other accomodations in Creel do when a new train is arriving at the station. But... I've stayed in literally hundreds of different accommodations in my life, from simple youth hostels to 4* hotels, and... More

was a bit weary at first but was a great time hanging out with the people that run the place and there friends, much better off than staying by the square or on the main street. never noticed the train must have been having too much fun every night:)

La posada de Creel is one of those places where you get to meet every one, they have a friendly staff, and a friendly enviroment. The rooms are very basic, however, that does not mean they are not comfortable. It is true that the train passes by early, but trust me, when you are as tired from all the tours... More

Although, it was more rustic than our usual choices in hotels, we were very pleased with our accommodations the 3 days we were in Creel. The rooms were very clean and certainly affordable ($40) en suite during high-season. We loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The owners were delightful and so much fun to be with! They ran the place... More

the price is okay if you dont mind the train wistle waking you up. it has a lovely balconey but unfortunatly it overlooks the train tracks and the lady working in the hotel is not very nice. also the doors are locked late at night if you want to go out for a night on the town or check in... More

This place is perfect for the budget traveler. We paid $10 a night for a clean room with really cool wood-frame beds and a gas heater that kept us warm through the cold nights (it gets cold up in the mountains). The window overlooked the main drag of the town, which was cool, and though it's next to the train... More

I stayed in the second floor room, it was like a little log cabin. Lovely wood furnishings and nice ensuite. Highly recommended!
