We avoid "touristy" and crowded places. This facility is older, but well maintained and truly rustic (no electricity, no phones) with kerosene lamps and a woodburning fireplace in each room. From our being met at the train station in Creel, to our departure two days later, the hospitality was excellent. The absence of electricity on the property is daunting, as the rooms are "lit" by two kerosene lamps, albeit quite dimly, and there is a single lamp struggling to provide light in the bathroom.
