We stayed, 5 hikers, in Kathleen's top class hotel. The place is marvelous. Wonderful rooms, nice lobby and public areas, quite environment and magnificent view of the ocean. We stayed for two nights during our Dingle Way hike, beginning and end. We highly enjoyed the professional service and care. Kathleen Daly took care for everything. Her hospitality was beyond our... Rooms are clean and comfortable. Sitting area always had cookies and the makings for tea or coffee. Hostess Kathleen Daly is a delight, very helpful and eager to be sure all is well with you. She suggested several ideas for day hikes on our layover day - it's clear she's spent much time on the paths herself. A lovely way... More

I stayed at this B&B two nights - one at the beginning of my walk of the Dingle Way, and one on the way back. Kathleen was an excellent host. She was caring and concerned about me as a single female hiker and gave me some tips for hiking along the way. The room was comfortable and clean and look... More

We had booked through the most fantastic walking tour company of Tailor-Made Tours. What a great choice. Kathleen is a lovely, welcoming and super capable woman that made us feel quite at home. She introduced us to the other guests and showed us to our twin room.Furnishings and all very simple and basic but we had everything we needed. The... More

We arrived at Finglas House absolutely exhausted after a gruelling first day on the Dingle Trail. We were given a lift up the hill for the last mile, by a lovely man in a community transport minibus, for which we were very grateful and then Mrs Daly took over, kindly settling us into our spacious and spotless room, making sure... We stayed here for one night prior to starting the Dingle Way, walking from Camp to Annascaul. Kathleen was warm and welcoming and ensured we were settled in comfortably and pointing us to Ashes Pub across the road for an evening meal. The room was comfortable, clean and with a welcome bath in addition to a shower. A good breakfast... More

We arrived at the B&B after a 20 mile hike. Kathleen immediately welcomed us, showed us the tea room and our room. The tea room had a wonderful view of the Bay and Kathleen provided muffins to have with our tea. Kathleen, concerned about how we were doing, knocked on our door to ensure we were still upright!! Breakfast was... More

Great B&B! We arrived soaking wet and quite miserable after a rainy day on the Dingle walk, but our stay at Finglas House revived us all. The landlady was very kind and hospitable. She dried all of our boots and clothes. There were tea and cookies in the upstairs sitting room and the rooms (and bathroom) were all very nice... More
