Hiromi and Charles have created a beautiful, comfortable B&B in the mountains of central Japan, blending the best of Japan and France. In addition to the yoga and bakery they offer to all, Hiromi arranged a bespoke tour of the region. We have met world class Japanese master craftspeople who received us with great kindness, as well as visiting traditional... More

The house is renovated beautifully, lovingly taken care of, the hosts are nice, friendly, helpful and most of all care about their village, environment and promoting their area. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing, the hosts went out of their way to show us around and assist us, and it was overall a lovely experience. the area has many interesting... More

This is the place to Purify your senses in every way. I was exhausted from travelling round navigating different language, travel systems and change of plans yet Olivier and Hiromi were the most welcoming and helpful hosts ever. Bringing joy to people seems to be their lifes work coz anything I needed they helped to find and exceed my expectations!... More

We were offered a varied tourist experience but without it being touristy at all - we were dressed in kimonos, visited a local festival, had a go a making chopsticks at a local carpenters, ate delicious home cooked Japanese food and French patisserie (a Frenchman and... We visited from UK. Nishiawakura in Okayama is a beautiful countryside looks like an old japanese folktale. It is ideal to combine your busy sightseeing in Kyoto and Osaka. It was very relaxing and enjoyable with our 5 years old daughter at that time. The accommodation was a very nice old Japanese family home converted to match modern requirements; clean... More
