We booked Heulwen just for an overnight stay as we needed to be in the area for a funeral. Our stay here couldn't have been nicer and we were made to feel very welcome. The only room left for us to book was the family room and it was lovely having all that space for the two of us. Although... More

When I phoned to book I was quoted a price higher than the price I had seen online and then owner backtracked and agreed to only charge the online price. When I arrived the welcome was good but after staying for 2 days the owners became unfriendly and sour. When I left I offered to pay by cash even though... More

I am sorry that you feel that you were treated unfairly when you stayed here at Heulwen B&B, but would like to ask why have you waited almost a year to post it? I would like to also question how many days you stayed? As you stated that it was over £200? There is a card machine on site, so... More

The far best B-B we have ever been. Shirley an Francis run their house so cosy an friendly, that you feel like you´re still at home. Situated just 100m from the trainstation an 200m from the shore, this awesome accomodation offers all: beautiful, clean and dearly decorated rooms, lots of space (we were lucky in the lila room, but 4... I stayed for 2 nights with my 2 boys. Lovely cosy clean bnb. Great welcome. Great nights sleep and hearty breakfast the next morning. Situated right near the train station and beach. Lovely owners. The landlady thinks of eveything. Right down to buckets and spades, games and books for the children. Will be sure to revisit 😊😊

Was originally planning to stay in Aberyswith but found this B&B on tripadvisor. Its 1 minute from the sea front near the railway station. We had the ground floor room with small ensuite and small patio area. Tea and coffee making facilities available. We were warmly welcomed and introduced to Borth and places to eat. We had a very comfortable... More

It's not often that I find somewhere away from home that I sleep as well as I do when at home. The bed was very comfortable, great pillows and a feather duvet where all a bonus, but the best was the energy of Heulwen - obviously a reflection of the lovely hosts. Shirley is a reflexologist and, being therapists ourselves,... More

we're just back from a two night stay at this b&b. We went for the Borth Carnival, which was a bit disappointing this year! But our stay at the Heulwen was excellent. We stayed in the ground floor room with our own patio area, which was great to sit and have a late night drink. The room was spotless and... More

We stayed for three nights at Heulwen Guest house whilst attending our nieces Graduation. We received a warm welcome from the owners and can recommend staying here if you are coming to Wales. The rooms are clean and well furnished and the breakfast is first class, the owner is full of local knowledge and will also tell you the best... More

After a long walk on a hot day, there's nothing better than a cheery welcome from a B&B host and Shirley did just that. She gave us all the necessary info about the room, wifi, places to eat etc and left us to relax. Her home is so close to the railway station (no noise though) and the beach. Although... More
