We stayed for three nights at Heulwen Guest house whilst attending our nieces Graduation. We received a warm welcome from the owners and can recommend staying here if you are coming to Wales. The rooms are clean and well furnished and the breakfast is first class, the owner is full of local knowledge and will also tell you the best... More

After a long walk on a hot day, there's nothing better than a cheery welcome from a B&B host and Shirley did just that. She gave us all the necessary info about the room, wifi, places to eat etc and left us to relax. Her home is so close to the railway station (no noise though) and the beach. Although... More

Stayed in the top floor Lilac Room with views of the sea and mountains. Large room and sizeable bathroom, but lots of stairs to climb if you are less than able bodied. Spotlessly clean and warm welcoming hosts. Well cooked and very tasty breakfast with fresh fruit salad as well as all the usual cereals.

From arrival to departure you have friendly but not intrusive attention. All questions answered with local Knowledge, Good clean rooms Lots of tea coffee etc plenty of parking, close to the shore where the petrified trees where found. A great base for exploring the welsh coast and countryside.

Part of our 4 days North Wales trip, we stayed at one night at this property. It is one of the best places we ever stayed. We got a feeling of staying in a relatives house. Care is shown and visible in every angle. I stayed with my 8 years and 5 years old daughter and they had room full... More

We came to stay at Heulwen during the Easter Holidays for one night as we were visiting my sons adopted monkey at the near by Animalarium zoo. The b&b has a home from home feel with easy parking outside. The family room was ample size for myself, partner and six year old son. The room had a brilliant touch with... More

Mrs Sayer greeted me with a smile and news that she was giving me a free room upgrade. I was shown up to the second floor front double bedroom with private bathroom, all contained within a suite with own door. Although facing north, the view from the bay window was surprisingly good with a panorama of distant hills and the... More

Myself and my daughter came to stay for only one night. Although I rang ahead to say what time I was arriving, I arrived earlier and was kindly greeted. The room is like home from home. Plenty of extras to keep you busy on days when there weather could be bad. Lovely hosts with great breakfast and even made the... More

Just outside the railway station, this awesome b&b is one of the best I have visited. The owners are lovely and really cared about the safety of my bike even though I doubt there is much, if any, thieving in this sleepy town. The landlord told me I had the best room in the house and it was very nice;... More
