There are no 'but's to this place. It is amazing. The things that other reviewers complain about (location, you have to speak Spanish) are what make this vacation place special. It is off the beaten path, people are friendly and helpful, food is fresh. If you want your usual comforts and amenities, head north 15 miles to Vallarta. Staff at... More

You must be fluent in Spanish as no one there spoke any English. You will have to make arrangements ahead of time for someone to let you in the gate. The rooms and grounds are lovely and clean. We stayed in La Palapa that was entirely open-air with mosquito netting for the beds. It was no problem. We would not... More

As others have written, the property is lovely. Beautiful buildings, manicured grounds, gorgeous pool and gracious staff. If you are planning to rent the entire place for your group, it should be perfect. However, we were just one couple. Our room was opposite the pool. There are no closing hours posted for the pool/hot tub. Three couples arrived around 10... More

I spent a week at Villa Magnolia and found that it was a very pleasant place to stay. The staff were very friendly and I was served a wonderful breakfast every morning with lots of fruit. The rooms were clean and the grounds were well kept with a pool. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who does not want... More

Rented the whole of Villa Magnolia for 10 days from Dec.26 2012 - Jan.5 2013.We took the immediate family,12 of us (8 adults and 4 kids) and had a fantastic vacation. The property is as beautiful as it looks on line, the grounds are well-kept and spacious and the pool area is magnificent. The design of the main house is... More

This tropical paradise has it all ... privacy yet easy access to Vallarta, small town charm with wide variety of international cuisine and the villa itself is perfect for both large family groups or an intimate weekend for two.

We have returned to Villa Magnolia on three different occasions. Each time we are enamored more and more with the house, gardens, and especially the wonderful service provided by Lis and Juan. Their attention to every detail of our stay, their warm and friendly hospitality, and their genuine interest in our stay surpasses any other hotel, or accommodations we have... More

If Even exist, we found it ! Harmony, relax, entertainment and service are the words which best fit this place. The house is divided in 3 : the main house and 2 extensions. The roof made of palapa and the wood very present everywhere gives a great ambiance. Surrounded by tropical trees, plants, and flowers, you just feel in a... More

My friends, family and I have stayed at Villa Magnolia several times over the past 5 years. Each time we return home feeling very relaxed and privileged to have experienced such a beautiful and tranquil home and garden. The property is very clean and well-maintained by cheerful helpful staff who work 6 mornings a week, as well as the night... More

Our stay at Villa Magnolia was a wonderful time with friends and family. Liz, the housekeeper and cook along with Jiesela her sister made the most amazing meals and were so attententive. The house is amazing in design and materials. The grounds are a whole city block in size with a tennis court included. The pool is larger than Texas... More
