We enjoyed staying at club Tapiz, good base to visit the Mendoza area wineries. The staff is very helpful in arranging for the visits to other wineries and every night at 8 there is a small gathering with other guests to taste the Tapiz wines and exchange experiences of the day. The restaurant is good, we ate there every night... More

We did not stay in the hotel but we ate in their restaurant twice. We had a multiple course dinner for NY's and it was delicious. We went back the next day and had lunch a la carte and it was HEAVEN - the quality of the food, their olive oil (bought 2 bottles) and their wine (bought 3 bottles)... More

This place was actually better than average but doesn't merit very good, not least because of the lack of choice on the unchanging menu - same for lunch and dinner, and every day that we were there. It's very peaceful, set in its own small vineyard but a fair way out of town such that walks into town, or outside... More

We enjoyed our stay at club Tapiz, it has a lot of rustic charm, the breakfast offering was good for Argentina. On our first night we arrived late (we struggled to find our way from the airport although looking back it wasn't that complicated) and didn't feel like having a big meal so ordered room service and a glass of... Club Tapiz was our penultimate stay in Argentina and it was excellent. It oozes elegance and the ambience of the place was outstanding. The hotel felt relaxed and it was in an ideal location to visit the nearby wineries in Lujan de Cuyo. The free wine tasting at 8 was a great addition and enabled us to meet all the... More

Alejandro the manager was really great, but he was not available when we checked in so Gabriella checked us in. She never gave us an orientation to tell us about the spa or the 1km hike around the property and really left us with the feeling that she didn't care. The property was nice, the rooms were average and some... More

I loved Club Tapiz. Probably more than any other hotel I've stayed in. There, I've said it. Everything there oozes understated elegance and class; the small hotel itself is beautiful, the location (15 minutes from Mendoza city, nestled amongst the famous vineyards of Lujan de Cuyo) ideal, the service perfectly attentive & super helpful without being intrusive and the restaurant... We stayed here on a tour of the wine country a while back, and it was a most memorable stay. The room was comfortable, (it was before Casa Zolo was completely renovated, though the day we spent lounging by the pool there was our favorite, and the tapas served with their homemade olive oil was the tastiest we have ever... This is our second stay at Club Tapiz in 12 months. It gets better every time because we personalize our trip with the help of the staff, Alejandro & Carolina. E-mail them before hand to set up all your visits to wineries, lunches & driver w a car. A guide is not needed. They will make great suggestions & you... More

Historic house on a vineyard! We spent two days laying by the pool and walking the property. We loved every minute. All the staff speaks english and is there for you. The restaurant was outstanding much of the food comes from the property. The rooms service is excellent and not over price (Large toasted steak sandwich and green salad from... More
