We loved our stay at this winery. So relaxing, nice rooms all kept in the old style and very clean. Service was excelent. Love the wine tasting in the evening. Loved the morning runs on the track around the wine fields with the mountains in the back ground and the dogs running along. Very nice restaurant with great food. But... More

Perfect place to stay while visiting the wineries of Mendoza. We loved laying by the pool, afternoon wine tasting, and the delicious breakfast. The staff was outstanding and helped us plan our visits to the local wineries. At first I was concerned that we were outside Mendoza, but after visiting the city we realized we did prefer being on the... More

Stayed in tapiz for 4 nights. Really enjoyed it. Staff were great. Enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting every evening. Enjoyed the nice pool and spa set up. Only grumble was that Menu was limited and food options not explained well ie you don't have to have the 4course meal every night. We ordered off the room service menu most nights... More

Arriving from Buenos Aires late afternoon, this was a world away from the hustle of a big city; total peace & quiet. Pleasent enough room, although would have preferred a somewhat firmer bed. English language TV news programme appreciated. Yes I suppose the room could be somewhat updated - but that is its charm. Staff helpful. I would liked to... More

The setting of this hotel is beautiful, its 7 rooms that look out on a courtyard with a vineyard in the background. The service is excellent - the two concierges helped us with everything we needed. The room was very cute, but the bathroom was a little worn. There is a small pool in the "backyard" with chaises. Best part... More

One of my travel companions observed that this place could us an infusion of cash. I agree that there are a few maintenance issues, but I would hate to see this place "modernized." Once the estate of the Governor of Mendoza, Club Tapiz has plenty of old world charm. It is set within a working vineyard and produces its own... More

We enjoyed staying at club Tapiz, good base to visit the Mendoza area wineries. The staff is very helpful in arranging for the visits to other wineries and every night at 8 there is a small gathering with other guests to taste the Tapiz wines and exchange experiences of the day. The restaurant is good, we ate there every night... More

This place was actually better than average but doesn't merit very good, not least because of the lack of choice on the unchanging menu - same for lunch and dinner, and every day that we were there. It's very peaceful, set in its own small vineyard but a fair way out of town such that walks into town, or outside... More

We enjoyed our stay at club Tapiz, it has a lot of rustic charm, the breakfast offering was good for Argentina. On our first night we arrived late (we struggled to find our way from the airport although looking back it wasn't that complicated) and didn't feel like having a big meal so ordered room service and a glass of... Club Tapiz was our penultimate stay in Argentina and it was excellent. It oozes elegance and the ambience of the place was outstanding. The hotel felt relaxed and it was in an ideal location to visit the nearby wineries in Lujan de Cuyo. The free wine tasting at 8 was a great addition and enabled us to meet all the... More
