When you are looking for a nice and quiet place to stay while exploring the Mendoza wine region you are at the right address. The rooms are basic but clean and the atmosphere is homely. The owner/host Francesco is there to welcome you and very helpful if you need more info. We enjoyed some lovely nice home cooking since we... More

Clean, quiet, perfect location for cycling the surrounding vineyards and excellent value for the price! Owners are incredibly helpful and friendly and offered a warm stay and organized a day tour for us. Also, very prompt email replies while booking as well as links for directions in Spanish for taxi drivers! So glad we stayed here at Tikaykilla instead of... More

We felt like home. Francisco the owner of this very cozy place pull his best effort in this sense. From tips on good places to go (and good doesn´t mean famous) and support to getting there we find allways his helping hand. The only thing that is important to notice is that the Lodge is not very near of any... More

We really enjoyed our stay at TikayKilla. The rooms were spotless, bed comfortable, shower hot, satelitte tv on an LCD and Internet worked well. The owner is so kind and extremely helpful. He made it very easy to explore the area and around. We did not have a car so he arranged all transport for us which was so awesome.... More

After doing my research on Tripadvisor, my wife and I decided to spend 3 nights at Tikaykilla Lodge and Wines in mid-March, 2014 for the Mendoza portion of our Argentinian vacation. We found the Lodge to be charming, tastefully appointed, and an excellent value for money. The property is large, with an ample sized lawn, and plenty of trees, plants... More

It’s been a few months since my girlfriend and I stayed at Tikay Killa lodge, but reminiscing over our South American visit prompted me to finally write this review. Simply put, it is easily the best place to stay in Maipu and was our favourite place of lodging for our entire two-month South American holiday. Francisco, the owner and manager... More

A mellow, relaxed, quiet spot with just a few rooms so you feel the place is kind of all yours. And there you are directly on the wine route with bikes awaiting a journey, parked at the lodge. No muss, no fuss. Our host Francisco attends our needs beautifully and with such grace even putting up with a late arrival,... More
