Didn't stay at the hotel but eat there. We had the 16E menu which was very good. Excellent service. Only serves local bottled beer, which was fine but limited. Car park is around the back but very small. However, there is plenty of on street parking. Nice to be give a larger table for the two of us. Since it... More

We have stayed in this small, family run Hotel 3 times as a stop-over either to or from Spain. I agree with all the positive comments on this Hotel and the food in the restaurant is of excellent quality and there is a choice of menus. Check, however, if they are open on a Sunday ! Breakfast is "continental" and also... More

Based on the reviews on this website we booked in this hotel and we are really pleased that we did. We started with a very warm welcome and then found the room was bright, clean and comfortable. We stayed in for dinner and we are glad we did, the food was excellent even by French standards. if you need to... More

We dined on a Sunday - difficult to arrange in France. The menus were well priced and the food competent. Clearly there are touches betraying the owner-chef's time in New Zealand. And these add to the foodie experience. A neat menu at €16.00, though the fish of the day was simply the cabillaud (cod) offered on the €23.50 menu. The... More

We went here while visiting parents and were absolutely delighted! Fantastic food (helpfully there are several levels of set menus - top not cheap!) in lovely surroundings with fabulous service. Unsurprisingly the restaurant was full - Suggest you reserve at weekend.. The whole experience was lovely - I couldnt recommend more. More

We stayed two nights at La Goule Beneze and can highly recommend it. Cathy who runs it is charming and will do her best to let you speak French no matter how bad you are! The rooms are comfortable and clean. We had a room at the back with a shower and thought it great value for money. The only... More

What a find! Catherine and Dominique will certainly give you a warm welcome, and will do everything possible to help improve your French. The food was delicious, and I wish them well with their first hotel. More

We stayed at La Goule Beneze in mid June 2006 and found it a really enjoyable experience. The hotel has recently been taken over by a young, enthusiastic couple Catherine & Dominique who both speak English and make guests feel really welcome. Dominique is the chef and his meals are superb - do try the strawberry & mint soup! Saint... More
