We stayed at Domaine De Rennebourg in May/June 2014 and it was the most amazing, unforgettable accommodation we have ever stayed in anywhere. The house is an enormous, rambling old French farmhouse/manor house which is magnificent but not overly grand and we understand it dates back to 1685. If you like trouser presses, modern sports cars and wear Gucci, this place is definitely NOT for you! But, if you are the kind of person who loves the unknown, doesn't go to places to be seen and relishes the quirky, unusual and vintage, you'll never want to leave. My husband and I discovered this place about 5 years ago and have recently stayed there again. I had broken a bone in my food so was on crutches . Madame laid a table in the beautiful garden for us and served such a delicious meal ,as much to eat and drink ,as we wanted at a rediciously low price.
