We stayed 2 nights at Gecko's at the end of a 4 day trek along the coast from Port St Johns - we're so glad we booked in here as it was just what we needed! We had a lovely relaxing couple of days and enjoyed the comfort of the room and the garden. Roger and Leonie were so welcoming... More

On our long drive from Durban to Cape Town, we decided to make Coffee Bay one of our stopover points. Anyone who has ever done this trek knows it can be a bit off the beaten track so the best thing for a traveler at the end of this leg are comfortable accommodations, pleasant host and a cool place to... Roger and Leonie are super friendly and helpful - we felt truly welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are totally adequate, clean and comfortable, our shower was a little bit unpredictable with the hot water coming and going but it did settle after some time. The walk to the beach is short and beautiful. The... More

We spent two nights at this comfortable guest lodge. The hosts were caring and made as feel really at home. Beautiful well kept garden. The room was clean with plenty of hot water. We opted for the self catering unit, the kitchen had everything we needed. Rodger gave good directions to Hole in the wall. His maps helped us to... More

We arrived in the dark to spend the night at this guesthouse and the wonderful scent of frangipani was most welcome. Our hosts could not have been kinder. The room was simple but had everything we required. As mentioned by previous reviewers the breakfasts are excellent. A comfortable and charming place to stay and probably the best in the area.

Such a nice couple run this quirky b and b in an old colonial feeling house with adequate rooms, showers, fans etc. and the best breakfast of our our three week holiday. We should have stayed longer to explore this out of the way 'hippy' village. But try not to arrive in the dark; the one hour drive from the... More

It's budget accommodation so dont expect much in your room... but the friendliness of the owners and the most fantastic breakfast makes every moment worth it. The rooms are very basic with no views... so only really a place to sleep in. No wifi, no soaps, no beach towels. But what you do have here is a place you feel... More

Roger and Leone as you can probably tell by the other reviews are so warm and considerate that their hospitality alone would encourage me to recommend their bed and breakfast to others. You just dont find that kind of quality and attention to detail very often these days. The rooms were old fashioned but clean and very adequate. The fridges... More

The hosts are amazing and make the stay very pleasant. The room is great and the breakfast even better. The personal treatment given made us feel at home. The guesthouse includes several rooms but only one was redone into a lovely apartment... Ask for it!
