I read a lot of entusiastic review about the hotel, so I spent 19 days in Tobago at the Candles in the Wind. Still now my wife and me are trying to find out what has people found in that place to make them so entusiastic. We have been travelling for a long time, visited many places around the world... more

5 long wonderful weeks I spent in Tobago and to stay at Candles made this vacation perfect. The guesthouse provides all one need but much more important has been the friendly atmosphere. Thank you Andrew and honestly I really miss your “good morning Gabi” ;-) more

"Candles in the Wind" is a great place! I went there with a group of friends and were so warmly accommodated by the staff and fellow guests. You feel right at home. We are from Canada and met some cool people from Australia and Denmark while we were staying there. The staff also helped direct us to some of the... more

We stayed here for 7 nights from 12th June - 19th June. Of all the rooms available there were only 3 other guests at Candles for most of our stay so we enjoyed the liberal use of the well maintained kitchen and dining areas. Air con/tv/ensuite all fine too. Couldnt really be in a better location - literally a 3... more

Staying in candles in the wind feels as comfortable and cosy as being in your own home. It was a warm, open environment, we met lots of friendly people there and slept as peacefully as we did in our own beds. The management is very helpful and gives service that really goes beyond what you would expect or receive in... more

This is a really nice house, convenient location, clean rooms - all the basics are there. But the most important thing is that Andrew, the owner of the guesthouse, is the most helpful guy! Me and my boyfriend didn't plan the holiday very well and I'm glad we ended up in Andrew's place. Definitely recommended for budget travellers! Yulia more
